Just like the classic debate- Left Twix versus Right Twix... both sides together ARE THE BEST!!! I am the same way, I am sweet on one side and salty on the other- together we are perfect! I have a tale to tell, however, none of it matters anymore because I am here right now to tell you- the best is yet to come! I am a big love bug, and although I can be nervous at first- I settle in quickly to be just a big couch potato! I am good with other dogs and would love to have a friend for life in my forever home. I am good with calm older dogs, not much for puppy energy all.the.time... :) I love kids, and would be great with school aged/teenagers (and not many others LIKE teenagers so I can be their buddy :) and would be good in a calmer/quieter home. I want so much to please my family and will look to you for love and attention. I also need a strong leadership family- I have tried to take over control in my first adoptive home and it was not appreciated. Well, HOWDY!!! I still can't believe i am IN TEXAS!! My story may be a little convoluted but suffice it to say... the OK Corral has nothing on me! I was not fighting the outlaws.. i was not fighting at all! I was just trying to figure out why I was saved and in a wonderful rescuers home.... then... back into a high kill shelter?? UNTIL, I was saved by ANOTHER rescuer and was transported from Louisiana to TEXAS and here I am! I LOVE everyone, I want a home that will walk me a couple of times a day and then chill out with me on their couch :) I don't have a whole bunch of energy but that is PERFECT for a lower energy home. I came to the rescue with heart worms but am going to complete my treatment by Christmas!! What a gift that will be! I am now looking for my family, someone who will love me for who I am.. a little low rider, kinda chunky but as loving as the day is long! ADOPT ME!!! Meet Max!!! He is a 10 month old boxer mix who is very very special because as you can see, he kind of has a crooked snout, which makes him even more adorable. The vet said he may have had an old injury but it does not hinder him nor hamper his breathing in any way and it just makes him so special and one of a kind! ❤️ The Volunteers have totally fallen in love with Max and he knows sit, gives paw and likes to play fetch. And don't you just love his helicopter ears!!
