After being neglected and surrendered to a southern shelter as a cruelty case, she was rescued and transported to NJ in hopes of finding a loving family. Mirage is looking for a quiet home away from the hustle and bustle of city life, as she thrives in tranquil environments. Mirage may be lowkey, but don’t let her calm demeanor fool you—she's a toy enthusiast who can often be found amusing herself with her favorite playthings. In fact, she’s also quite the entertainer with them- give her a squeaky toy and she’ll show you her funny side as she keeps herself (and you) entertained! She's looking for patient adopters who will give her the time she needs to adjust to her new surroundings and let her wonderful personality shine through. Meet Chavo, a handsome purebred Rottweiler who is looking for a new home. He came from a private breeder in NY and is up to date on all his shots. Chavo is about 4 1/2 years old and weighs in at a whopping 98 pounds. Chavo is house, leash, and crate trained. He’s a friendly dog who gets along great with other dogs, cats are an unknown, although he can be protective of his water bowl and his balls. He has lived with other dogs. We socialized him at a very young age and took him to plenty of dog parks. Chavo has lived with a child but owners would suggest older kids are a better fit as Chavo doesn't always realize how big he is. He is a friendly and playful boy, smart, and eager to please. He loves toys but can be protective them. He has been known to howl when he is left alone in his crate too long so apartment living may not be the best fit for him. She has done absolutely fine with older children. She has not been exposed to smaller kids other than walking through the store and did fine. She has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. She loves her belly rubs and will often wait for you to give her one before coming inside. They took care of her and her son for a time. They were later surrender to us to further her training and help them find permanent homes. Her son has found his forever home, and now it is miss Litas turn. Although she resides in Georgia she would be happy to make the trip up north for her very own furever home. she would love some bigger kids to play with or maybe a big back yard to run in.
