Reeses is a 2-year-old Rottweiler/Shepherd mix with the cutest smile. He was rescued from Marion County, South Carolina. He weighs 61 pounds. Reeses is a huge lovebug. He can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he is so happy to spend all his time by your side. He loves playing fetch and would spend all day running to catch his favorite toys and tennis balls. He’d love a big backyard to play and run in. And when he gets tired, scooch over and let him snuggle in close. This sweet boy wants to snuggle and snooze with you. Reeses would do well in a home with other big, playful dogs and older kids who can handle his size—he doesn’t quite understand that he isn’t as teeny tiny as some of his puppy pals. He would be an amazing family dog or a bestie to any young person or couple looking to add a canine companion. We can’t wait for you to meet Reeses. We know you’ll love him to pieces! Mirage may be lowkey, but don’t let her calm demeanor fool you—she's a toy enthusiast who can often be found amusing herself with her favorite playthings. In fact, she’s also quite the entertainer with them- give her a squeaky toy and she’ll show you her funny side as she keeps herself (and you) entertained! Meet Chavo, a handsome purebred Rottweiler who is looking for a new home. He came from a private breeder in NY and is up to date on all his shots. Chavo is about 4 1/2 years old and weighs in at a whopping 98 pounds. Chavo is house, leash, and crate trained. He’s a friendly dog who gets along great with other dogs, cats are an unknown, although he can be protective of his water bowl and his balls. He has lived with other dogs. We socialized him at a very young age and took him to plenty of dog parks. Chavo has lived with a child but owners would suggest older kids are a better fit as Chavo doesn't always realize how big he is. He is a friendly and playful boy, smart, and eager to please. He loves toys but can be protective them. He has been known to howl when he is left alone in his crate too long so apartment living may not be the best fit for him. Chavo is NOT with 11th Hour Rescue but we are networking him so that he may find a new home. Kiya is a beautiful and affectionate Rottie mix girl. She is very cuddly and affectionate. She loves to curl up with you on the couch. For being young, she is very low energy. Her favorite thing is to lay around and just chew on one of her toys or bones. She gets along great with other dogs, but she doesn’t have much interest in playing with them, she would rather just hang out. She does like to play with her foster mom. She would be fine living with other dogs or as an only dog. She loves to chase squirrels and chipmunks and chasing tennis balls is her favorite thing to do. She also loves her squeaky toys. She’s easily entertained and very goofy. She is crate trained and house broken. She loves her crate. Her current foster crates her at night and also when she is not at home. She will bark at strangers that are outside the house, but she’s fine once they walk in the door. She loves men and women. She loves to go for walks and sniff everything. She walks well most of the time but pulls at times when she sees a squirrel or chipmunk. She does well with 2Hounds harness and would do even better with more training. She loves to sniff and finding all the new smells in the yard and in the neighborhood are one of her favorite things to do. She is obedient and listens most of the time but gets a little hard of hearing if you’re calling her and she’s sniffing out a chipmunk in the yard. She does well in a fenced yard, but if there are gaps, she will squeeze through one. She always comes back, but she needs a secure fence so that she doesn’t get out. She has shown resource guarding with her food and the other dogs in her foster home. She has growled and barked at them when they came near her food. For this reason, her foster feeds her in her kennel. Kiya is fine with this. We don’t know how she would be with resource guarding with humans, because her foster has never tried it. Her foster is able to put her food bowl in her crate and close the door with her in it at meal time. She is easily distracted when you has something she’s guarding. You can throw her tennis ball and she’ll chase it and leave what she is guarding. She takes treats gently. Because she resource guards, we are not going to place her in a home with small children. She would do wonderfully in a home with adults and teens. She loves people. She is the perfect low-key dog. Age: 1.5 years Weight: 55 lbs Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccines, spayed and heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines Temperament: good with bigger kids and other dogs but must feed separately. Training: House trained, crate trained. Barkley is a sweet 5 yr old rottie mix. She has been in rescue over 3 years. She needs to find her forever home. She does have a high prey drive, so no cats or small dogs. She has done absolutely fine with older children. She has not been exposed to smaller kids other than walking through the store and did fine. She has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. She loves her belly rubs and will often wait for you to give her one before coming inside.
