Just like the classic debate- Left Twix versus Right Twix... both sides together ARE THE BEST!!! I am the same way, I am sweet on one side and salty on the other- together we are perfect! I have a tale to tell, however, none of it matters anymore because I am here right now to tell you- the best is yet to come! I am a big love bug, and although I can be nervous at first- I settle in quickly to be just a big couch potato! I am good with other dogs and would love to have a friend for life in my forever home. I am good with calm older dogs, not much for puppy energy all.the.time... :) I love kids, and would be great with school aged/teenagers (and not many others LIKE teenagers so I can be their buddy :) and would be good in a calmer/quieter home. I want so much to please my family and will look to you for love and attention. I also need a strong leadership family- I have tried to take over control in my first adoptive home and it was not appreciated. SO, you need to be my boss, it's not hard- just let me know you are someone I can trust to keep me safe and take EXCELLENT care of me- with love and more love and I will LET you be in control. Simple as that :) I am a big boy, about 75#, with GORGEOUS colors and markings. I will melt your heart when you look into my amber eyes and into my sweet soul. So don't hesitate, ADOPT ME!! Hi, I'm Kesha! I am a classy Rottweiler looking for my forever family! Now let me tell you a little about myself.... I was found out on the streets, skinny and sad with these HUGE marks all around my muzzle :( It is obvious to the rescuers that I had been bound around my mouth/muzzle for an extended point of time..... no words can express how sad and heartbroken this makes my rescue peeps feel, cause I am the BESTEST girl! Loving and smart and GREAT with EVERYONE I meet!! I have puppy-dog brown eyes that'll absolutely pull at your heart strings, so careful when I look up at you! I have the ability to melt you into jelly, so get ready to make me your NEWEST family member!! My rescue peeps will be very picky about my forever family, so get ready for the grilling :) BUT I AM SO SO WORTH IT. I have a LOVE for food that exceeds all others. I have been internally starving so long because my pancreas wasn't producing the enzymes my body needs to digest and use the nutrients in the foods I was eating........... Sooooo, I am starving and the time and no one better come into my food space (other dogs). We have had no problems at the rescue since she is kenneled to eat. Kesha has had a really horrible start to her life, lets all get together and make sure she gets the BEST NEXT CHAPTER!!! ADOPT.......>DON'T SHOP!!! MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!!!!! Astrid is a charming 1-year-old female dog with a heart full of love. She walks beautifully on a leash, always alert and ready to explore the world around her. Her foster family noticed that she does have a curious palate and will eagerly snatch up anything that looks remotely edible, including the occasional acorn of piece of trash. Crate trained and nearly potty trained, Astrid has a wonderful balance of playfulness and relaxation when at home with her foster family. She adores her chew toys, and loves the occasional zoomie, but she also really enjoys cozying up on the couch for movie time or snuggling in bed. She's fantastic with cats and, while she can be a bit selective with other dogs, she has the potential to get along with them given some patience and the right introductions. During bath time, she's a total sweetheart, sitting patiently while you pamper her. Though she is not a fan of getting her nails done, a few treats work wonders to keep her calm. Astrid is a great listener and a fast learner, already mastering commands like sit, down, and stay. With some continued recall practice in the yard, she's sure to flourish even more. Astrid loves her foster family and has enjoyed her time there, but she is so ready to find her forever home, where she can share her affectionate nature and lively spirit! Please consider opening your home as a foster to help us learn more about our pups!
