Hi! My name is Kittara and I am from Oklahoma. I hear you like Big Mutts, and I can guarantee you'll like me! I am about 5 months old and 50 lbs, they say I'm part Rottweiler. From her foster: Kittara is a very playful and energetic puppy. She absolutely loves people and attention. She is good with other dogs and enjoys running around at the dog park. She is still working on walking on her leash nicely but has gotten a lot better already. She is crate trained and will go in if you stand by the crate with a treat. Kittara only had a few accidents since coming into our home at the very beginning but has been good about going to the bathroom outside. Kittara has a strong prey drive and chases everything ,so she should go to a home without cat. She loves kids, however she does not realize how big she is and will knock them over. Kittara is the biggest smuggler at night and can't get close enough to you. She loves her people and everyone she meets. Kittara needs to go to a home without cats and preferable only older children. She would thrive in a home with another dog to play with. She is currently living in an apartment and does well. She doesn't bark much. She would love to have a fenced yard to run in with a doggy friend.

Just like the classic debate- Left Twix versus Right Twix... both sides together ARE THE BEST!!! I am the same way, I am sweet on one side and salty on the other- together we are perfect! I have a tale to tell, however, none of it matters anymore because I am here right now to tell you- the best is yet to come! I am a big love bug, and although I can be nervous at first- I settle in quickly to be just a big couch potato! I am good with other dogs and would love to have a friend for life in my forever home. I am good with calm older dogs, not much for puppy energy all.the.time... :) I love kids, and would be great with school aged/teenagers (and not many others LIKE teenagers so I can be their buddy :) and would be good in a calmer/quieter home. I want so much to please my family and will look to you for love and attention. I also need a strong leadership family- I have tried to take over control in my first adoptive home and it was not appreciated. I was found out on the streets, skinny and sad with these HUGE marks all around my muzzle :( It is obvious to the rescuers that I had been bound around my mouth/muzzle for an extended point of time..... no words can express how sad and heartbroken this makes my rescue peeps feel, cause I am the BESTEST girl! Loving and smart and GREAT with EVERYONE I meet!! I have puppy-dog brown eyes that'll absolutely pull at your heart strings, so careful when I look up at you! I have the ability to melt you into jelly, so get ready to make me your NEWEST family member!! My rescue peeps will be very picky about my forever family, so get ready for the grilling :) BUT I AM SO SO WORTH IT. I have a LOVE for food that exceeds all others. I have been internally starving so long because my pancreas wasn't producing the enzymes my body needs to digest and use the nutrients in the foods I was eating........... Sooooo, I am starving and the time and no one better come into my food space (other dogs). We have had no problems at the rescue since she is kenneled to eat.
