Story
Barkley is a sweet 5 yr old rottie mix. She has been in rescue over 3 years. She needs to find her forever home. She does have a high prey drive, so no cats or small dogs. She has done absolutely fine with older children. She has not been exposed to smaller kids other than walking through the store and did fine. She has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. She loves her belly rubs and will often wait for you to give her one before coming inside. She has no issues.

Story
This boy is the last of the litter still looking for a home. He is very friendly, loves to play and would love an active family. He gets along with other dogs and doesn't have to be the alpha. He will need all the puppy training as he's never been inside of a house. He is a quick learner and is learning manners when greeting people (he's a bit jumpy). He is a fun boy who just wants to have a good time. He is located in Tennessee but can be transported through Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Story
Flo would like to introduce herself to the world! And no, I`m not talking about the Progressive commercial, Flo. :)Flo is a very sweet, young and playful Rottweiler female approximately 1-2 years of age. She was dropped off to us by someone who said she was running as a stray. We`re not exactly sure of her past, but what we DO know is that she is kind, loves human touch and affection, and LOVES to explore. When Flo came into our facility, she was super under-fed and under-nourished, so we are slowly getting her back to a healthy weight. She currently weighs about 75 pounds, but won`t be full-grown until she reaches the age of 2 or 2.5.You must have a background of experience and knowledge with this breed. Rottweilers require a dedicated amount of exercise and care and an intentional dedication to make sure they stay healthy and groomed properly. We will also require you have a single-family home with a fenced in yard. Unfortunately, apartments or condominiums will not suffice.Flo is full of energy but does do well with both male and female dogs. She will need a playmate that has a higher energy level. If you have cats at home, it is not recommended Flo joins your family, but since we don`t know her past and she is still young, slow and supervised introductions would be mandatory.Come see this awesome girl today! If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $250

Story
Meet Sheba! This sweet girl is approximately 8-10 years young and is believed to be a Doberman / Super-mutt mix?! She’s about 70 lbs. but could definitely stand to lose a few lbs. Sheba was the longest resident at St Clair County Animal Control, after being surrendered by her owner in September because they were moving and couldn’t take her with them. She was a shelter favorite to all the volunteers and would hold her potty 14-16 hours at a time to not have an accident in her cage! She’s a very clean and classy girl and still very much potty trained in her foster home. She loves soft blankets, being cozy in her pig jammies, cuddling, and playing with toys. For being a large dog you’d never know how old she is because she can keep up with her younger foster 🐶 siblings like you’d never believe! Sheba has “happy feet” and prances when she’s excited and it’s quite possibly the cutest thing ever 😍 She is crate trained but we believe after proper decompression she won’t even need to be crated when left alone. She is dog friendly with slow and proper introductions but does seem to do best with other slower speed/ calmer dogs as she can be a bit of a sassy granny to the youngins ;) Sheebs walks well on the leash for the most part and is a gentle and sweet girl. Sheba would make a great companion for an active senior or for anyone who has room in their home/ heart for a chunky old lady ❤️ Want to give Sheba a retirement home for her golden years? 🙏🏻 *8-10 years young *70 lbs. of cuteness *Potty and Crate Trained *Dog friendly (Cats unknown) *UTD on vaccines and spayed Application: https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application
