Hercules is originally from Peru, I brought him over when he was 12 weeks old and has been with me for over 10 years, he is gentle giant and very friendly with every domestic animal, he loves attention and to be pet as much as possible. Unfortunately I’m relocating due to financial stress to a small place and they don’t allow pets and I don’t have much options unfortunately. Im just looking for someone that will give Hercules a loving home.

Story
Luna is a giant puppy. She is excitable, a bit dramatic and playful. She is crate trained and a big softy. She will sit at your feet all day long. She knows how to sit, sit pretty (on her hind legs) and lie down on command. She doesn't bark too much, but has natural security instincts. She is not vicious but she does try to play fight with dogs and doesn't know her boundaries so it can quickly escalate so she is best supervised when with other dogs. We had 2 dogs most of her life and they got along 99% of the time. Ideally she would be in a home that has a big yard and no other pets. She doesn't have a lot of stamina so she only needs a short walk. She's generally lazy. She does like to dig in dirt so if there are potted plants around and she is unsupervised she will root like pig.

Crystal, 45 lbs, 2-3 years. She is very trainable. Walks great on and off leash. Has great recall. Knows how to sit, stay, pray, and if you let her go, all you have to do, just put your hand out and yell touch, and she will come from wherever she is to touch her hand then she'll take off running and play. You don't have to tell her kennel. She knows exactly what to do when she comes in the house. She doesn't destroy things. She loves children, hugs and kisses loves to play and snuggle. She ignores cats. MA license #0092 ##2219846##

Story
Flavia is a one of a kind girl who can`t wait to be someone`s best friend. She loves to meet new people and show off her best butt wiggles. Flavia was potty trained and crate trained in her previous home, but she might need a reminder that jumping on people to say hello can be considered rude. Flavia has met lots of dogs while she`s been with us and seems like she would do just find with an easy going canine companion. Unfortunately, Flavia came to us with a large Mast Cell Tumor on her leg and despite removing it we were unable to get all of the cancer. Thankfully, it a low grade tumor that isn`t likely to spread quickly, but could reoccur. A good relationship with a vet will be important to keep an eye on the site and discuss options for continued care. Flavia is a sweet and silly girl and we`re very hopeful she has many happy years ahead of her!If you think this dog could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm – no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. Preparing your home for your new dog or puppy ahead of time can help ease the transition for your new pet and set you both up for success should there be a dog that’s a good match! To learn more about how to make the first few weeks with your new dog or puppy the most successful it can be, please visit www.mspca.org/petresources. For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they’re interested in - and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Peaches: Your Sweet New Best Friend! Are you ready to welcome a sweetheart into your life? Look no further than Peaches, a 3-year-old Rottweiler with a heart as big as Texas! True to her name, Peaches is a bundle of sweetness who has blossomed into a confident, loving companion during her time in foster care in New England. Peaches is the perfect match for someone who enjoys quiet evenings, long outdoor walks, and—of course—handing out lots of treats! She’s crate trained, housebroken, and walks beautifully on a leash. This well-mannered girl would thrive in a home with adults or older teens and would do best with dogs her size or larger. Cats, however, aren’t her thing. Though initially shy, Peaches is incredibly intelligent and thoughtful. She carefully observes new people and situations, but once she decides you're her person, she’ll be your loyal, velcro sidekick. She loves to rest her head on your knee while you read or watch TV, patiently waiting for some well-deserved pets. If you’re looking for a loving, gentle soul to share your life, give Peaches a chance to warm up to you—she’ll steal your heart in no time!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Apply on our web site: http://4theloveofdog.org/adopt.html November 5, 2024, 9:02 am
