Story
Luna is a giant puppy. She is excitable, a bit dramatic and playful. She is crate trained and a big softy. She will sit at your feet all day long. She knows how to sit, sit pretty (on her hind legs) and lie down on command. She doesn't bark too much, but has natural security instincts. She is not vicious but she does try to play fight with dogs and doesn't know her boundaries so it can quickly escalate so she is best supervised when with other dogs. We had 2 dogs most of her life and they got along 99% of the time. Ideally she would be in a home that has a big yard and no other pets. She doesn't have a lot of stamina so she only needs a short walk. She's generally lazy. She does like to dig in dirt so if there are potted plants around and she is unsupervised she will root like pig.

Story
Hercules is originally from Peru, I brought him over when he was 12 weeks old and has been with me for over 10 years, he is gentle giant and very friendly with every domestic animal, he loves attention and to be pet as much as possible. Unfortunately I’m relocating due to financial stress to a small place and they don’t allow pets and I don’t have much options unfortunately. Im just looking for someone that will give Hercules a loving home.

She is looking for an active, patient family who is ready to shower her with love and is excited to continue her training.Hennifer has typical boxer mix energy, where she loves a good play session and will crash hard for a nap after. She adores playing with other dogs and is learning how to take cues from other pups. She'd do just fine with or without a canine sibling. Hennifer's basically ignored cats in her foster homes, so she'd do well with a dog-savvy cat in the home. Because she loves meeting humans (small and big) alike, she'd do best with dog-savvy kids who are able to give her some time and space to get to know them. She is fully crate trained and is crated occasionally during the day and overnight without any issue. She is mostly house trained and will continue to thrive when taken out on a consistent schedule and routine. She is working on her leash manners and enjoys her daily walks around the neighborhood.Hennifer's a vibrant gal who's zest for life will likely have you falling in love with her in no time- is she the one for you? Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. If you cannot find a particular dog on our website, he/she may be on a temporary foster hold. All dogs are otherwise posted until they are officially adopted. Story
Capri Sun is a older lady who is looking for a special home. She is one of the dogs from the large surrender we took of under-socialized boxers. Due to her abnormal history she is a very nervous lady who is slow to warm up to people and new situations. Capri Sun will need a family committed to helping her settle in at her own pace and learn normal dog behaviors. She would likely do best in a home without another dog or young kids. If you think this dog could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. Preparing your home for your new dog or puppy ahead of time can help ease the transition for your new pet and set you both up for success should there be a dog thats a good match! To learn more about how to make the first few weeks with your new dog or puppy the most successful it can be, please visit http://www.mspca.org/petresources. For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) theyre interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.

Millie is a sweet lady who is looking for an easygoing home. She can be nervous with new people, but once she settles in she is the snuggliest girl out there! Millie has lived with cats and dogs before and could likely do so again with a proper introduction. Millie is a nice combination of silly and social with her favorite people, she enjoys playtime and then relaxing on the couch.
