Rocket is people friendly and outgoing but also calm and quiet. He is approximately 2 ½ years old and is believed to be a Rottweiler and hound mix. He is a SURVIVOR! He was abandoned in mid-2022, but with lots of medical intervention and care from Mercer Humane he is a healthy boy and ready for a loving home. Due to his past, Rocket would do best in a home without other dogs or cats. Patience, understanding, compassion, and love are what Rocket needs most as he may have hidden long-term issues based on being abandoned. Rocket has had his preliminary vaccines, is neutered, and microchipped. Don’t you have a place in your heart and home for Rocket? We are still getting to know Rupp, but we know hes VERY friendly and playful. Hes loves humans and can be very affectionate. Rupp often chooses to relax in his crate, and he also rides really well in cars. With other dogs, he comes on a little strong, so hed do best with canine companions that like to play rough or wont be offended by that play style. We suspect that he might be able to live with cats in the future, after some serious decompression time. Older children would be best suitable for Rupp Rupp is currently living in boarding, which makes it very hard for him to attend adoption events and training sessions. He needs a long-term foster or foster-to-adopt home ASAP! Rupp is already neutered and vaccinated; the only vet care he needs is a microchip. I love kids they are great fun! I'm house trained and crate trained. I got to meet a pet rabbit the other day and he smelled GREAT! Don't worry I just sniffed him a LOT!! Where are my manners? Let me introduce myself, I'm Coco Puff, I'm a 5 year old Boxer mix. I act just like my breed says I will. As much as I love to play, I also like curling up on the couch with my Foster mom, she loves it when I want to snuggle. I'm also the best heater you will ever have! if you get cold at night, I'm more than happy to help keep you warm! So if you're looking for some fun and lots of love in your life, I would love to become part of your family. Coco did have a growth removed off of her abdomen that ended up being a mast cell tumor. Our veterinary team feels like they got all of it, but it is uncertain if she will have other places pop up as boxers are a breed prone to having mast cell tumors. Adoption fee: $50 (includes 6% State Sales Tax) Our pets are fostered in volunteers' homes, not at a shelter facility.
