Story
Meet JoJo! This 4-year-old Rottweiler is on the lookout for her forever home. JoJo is a friendly, social butterfly who adores being around people. With her sweet personality and laid-back demeanor, she`s more into relaxation than high-energy activities. JoJo does have some gastrointestinal issues we are working on treating, and it is possible that she may need to be on medication long-term. JoJo has a strong love for treats and can be a bit enthusiastic about them, so we recommend a home with children 12 and older to ensure nobody accidentally gets their fingers nipped. She walks gently on a leash and would make the perfect companion to take for walks. She`s also been tested with other dogs and did well, so she might enjoy a furry sibling if it`s a good match! JoJo is ready to shower her new family with love. Could she be the perfect addition to your home?

Story
Amari is currently in a foster home! Please call us at 219-872-4499 if you would like to adopt her! Wherever Amari goes, happiness and laughter follow. She is SO social, SO outgoing, and seriously SO cute! She has the silliest, most endearing personality. She thinks belly rubs are the best things ever and loves to snuggle in close for affection. Amari is a smart girl! She knows how to sit and mostly lay down. She loved to work for string cheese for sure! The perfect way to describe her is that she is just a happy, good girl! As far as other furry friends go, when she saw shelter pups, she seemed very friendly and had loose body language. She also did some play bows and little hops when she saw another dog walking on leash while she was on leash. We think she could do well with another friendly dog! She would prefer a home without kitty friends. We think Amari would be such a cool fursister to your respectful kiddos! Amari is about 55-pounds and is a little younger than one and a half years old and is spayed.

Story
Everybody gather round, it`s an extremely rare sighting of...Jarbarkus?! This handsome bear-like Rottie is nothing but a gentle giant. He is absolutely a sight to see, with long(ish) multiple coated fur, and those big brown eyes! Jarbarkus loves to play, but he can definitely tone it down to match the setting he`s in. His favorite game so far has been fetch with a squeaky toy, to be exact. Another thing Jarbarkus loves is butt scratches! His body completely loosens up and he wiggles into you to receive more. This affectionate boy is very easy to please--between the butt scratches and chin scratches, we don`t know which one he likes more! This Rotty can hang with the best of his four legged pals, he has become a prominent member for playgroups here at the shelter! Jarbarkus would best suit an adult only home with parents that understand his needs as a Rottweiler. On this next tour stop, we will answer any questions you have about Jarbarkus. Come stop by to see him!

Story
Weezy (1 yr and 2 months) is a full bred Rottweiler who’s very loving and caring towards humans and other dogs. He’s very accustomed to the city environment, which includes loud noises, bikers, runners, and all sorts of busy day-to-day movement. He’s a trainable puppy curious about his surroundings. Ideally, his new home would have a yard for him to play in and a caring family who can manage his upbeat energy. Currently the owner is a single dog parent with a demanding work schedule unable to provide Weezy with the love and attention he needs. Thank your for time consideration to welcoming my baby boy into your home.
