Bane`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - UnknownKids - Yes!Meet Bane, a gentle giant with a heart as big as his 117-pound frame! At nearly 9 years old, Bane is a well-mannered, easygoing guy who has been living in a foster home with children and doing great. He’s housebroken and can be left loose in the home without any issues—no destruction, no anxiety, just a chill companion who enjoys his space.Bane enjoys his daily walks, gets along well with other dogs, and prefers a more relaxed crowd. He knows a handful of commands, including sit, lay down, come here, and stop, and he’s eager to please. When Bane is feeling playful, he likes to turn fetch into a game of keep-away! While his previous family was hoping for a more protective dog, Bane is more of a `love everyone` kind of guy. If you`re looking for a big, affectionate companion who will happily keep you company but leave the guard dog duties to someone else, Bane might just be your perfect match!-----Adoption Fees & Benefits:Under 1 year: $2001-4 years: $1005-9 years: $5510+ years: $35Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.Important Notice: A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. Story
Kona (5 years old) is a sweet girl who loves but scritches and snuggles, and sincerely believes she can fit on your lap. At about 80-90 pounds she’s a big girl who needs enough room to run around and someone who is has an active lifestyle. Kona is house trained and knows how to sit and lay down, but no other commands. Fortunately she is eager to please and very trainable! I took her in 9 months ago, but she does not get along with my cat and it will be best for both of them if they live apart. I didn’t have time to update her shots in January due to travel and illness, so she is slightly out of date on vaccinations, but I plan to update her very soon, so this is only relevant if she is adopted quickly. Kona has cherry eye and requires her eyes to be cleaned daily, but this condition is not painful and does not affect her vision.

Story
When asked to describe Teddy, our volunteers responded "he's perfect, no notes".....and while we might be a little biased, we can say Teddy is pretty darn great. Teddy is a lover, a very sweet boy! He seems starved for attention but isn’t quite sure what to do with it when he gets it. You can tell he is young and eager to please, but occasionally he gets over excited. Teddy is very treat motivated but sometimes loses focus and needs direction. He'll need an adopter who understands his size and strength - even when he's full of energy! Teddy has just started to understand toys and how much fun they can be! He was very proud of himself when he discovered the rope toy....spending the next few minutes prancing around showing everyone what he had found. He has seen dogs through the fence and reacts loudly - lots of barking. We have not introduced him to dogs otherwise. Teddy does have itchy skin and will likely have lifelong allergy issues. Due to his size and his very big bark, we will not adopt Teddy to a family with an apartment. He's so easy to love and we know the perfect family is out there waiting! *Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 min from downtown Indy *Please visit website for how to adopt: https://sketchymuttsandunderdogs.org/adopt *Please note that we do not operate on a first come first served basis.

Story
Have you been looking for a pup to laugh with you, cry with you, and most importantly cheer you up during your worst moments? Neo would make the perfect man for the job! Neo is a three-year-old dog who has been waiting to find the human who complements him best. Despite his young age, he has already been rehomed at least once and was most recently found as a stray. While he has enjoyed the new digs at HSHC, Neo thinks it’s about time he graduates from a kennel into a forever home.Neo has quickly become a staff favorite, with many saying he has the softest fur in the universe, gives the best snuggles you’ve ever had, and provides constant companionship whenever needed. He’s practically the staff therapy pup! Neo loves to run around and be goofy, but he can also settle down nicely and chill on the couch for hours. The great news is that Neo passed his cat test with flying colors, so if there’s a feline friend at home, they are likely to get along just fine. Plus, Neo absolutely loves sitting in laps, making him the perfect cuddle buddy.Neo isn`t just looking for a new family; he`s looking for a new best friend, companion, and someone to count on for the rest of his days. Do you think you’re the one for him?

He pulls, barks, and bounces on leash because, in his mind, every walk is the most thrilling adventure ever.
