Story
Lilo, formerly known as Porsche, is an eight-month-old female rottweiler and beagle mix, weighing about 37 pounds at her intake and still growing. Unfortunately, this is Lilo`s second stay at the shelter; she was first surrendered in April 2024 along with four siblings as part of an unwanted litter. Although she quickly found a home, she was returned on October 24 due to her owner`s personal circumstances. While in her previous home, Lilo was kept indoors and is reported to be potty trained. She is known to get along well with other dogs and has interacted positively with children aged two and up. Lilo hasn’t been around cats yet, but cat testing is available at the shelter. Currently feeling a `lil low`, Lilo is eager to find her forever family and is searching for the Stitch to complete her!

Story
Meet Max, the maximum example of love and companionship! This 12-year-old Rottweiler and Shepherd mix weighs around 55 pounds and is ready to spend his golden years in a comfy, loving home. Max was surrendered to the shelter with another dog when his owner had to move. While he’s somewhat housebroken, he may have occasional accidents, so he’ll need a patient owner to help him settle into new potty routines. Max has experience with children (ages 4-5) and has been said to be good with them, as well as with cats. He previously lived with another dog, but if there are other dogs in the home, a meet-and-greet is recommended to ensure that he jives with any resident canines. This sweet senior is looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy his well-deserved retirement.

Story
Hi there! My name is Pretty, and I'm a 1-year-old boxer with a lot of love and energy to share. I came in from animal control, and while my past might be a bit of a mystery, I'm all about looking forward to a bright future with a loving family. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was very hyper and loved jumping on people to show my excitement. But guess what? I've already improved so much! I can now easily redirect my energy to my favorite squeaky toys. Fetch is one of my all-time favorite games, and I'll even drop the toy for you so we can keep the game going. I have a fun habit of dropping my toys in spots where I have to fish them out, so I might really enjoy a snuffle mat! I adore treats and will sit very nicely for them. I pick up on training quickly, so I'm sure I can learn lots of new tricks and commands with your help. Even though I have a lot of energy, I also have a very sweet side. I love cuddles and affection just as much as I love playing. If you're looking for a playful, energetic companion who is also sweet and eager to learn, I'm your girl. Let's meet and see if we can make each other's lives even more fun and loving!

Story
Calling all boxer fans!! I'm Bart, a 10-month-old Boxer mix with a great smile and some pep in his step! I'm on the lookout for my forever home. I came in from animal control, so my past is a bit of a mystery, but I'm ready to make new memories with you! The staff here says I'm such a happy guy that my tail is always wagging. I wag it so much that the end of it gets a little sore from hitting my kennel. But that's just because I'm full of love and excitement! I adore being around people and other dogs, and I'm always ready to give and receive affection. When we're out on walks, I have low to medium energy. I can follow commands and know how to sit. I'm usually pretty easy to walk, but I do pull a bit at first, especially if I want to greet another dog. I don't chase after ducks, geese, or bicyclists, so you don't have to worry about that. I'm friendly to everyone I meet, both dogs and people. Even though I can get a little excited at the beginning of a walk, I'm not fearful at all. I'm just eager to explore and make new friends. If you're looking for a happy, loving, and friendly companion, I think we'd be a perfect match. Come meet me, and let's start our adventure together!

Story
Hi there, I'm Bullet! I'm a 5-year-old Doberman mix with a big heart and a goofy personality. I came from a home where there was a new baby, and I wasn't quite sure how to handle all that. So, here I am, looking for a fresh start with someone who understands my quirks. I've got a lot going for me-I'm crate-free because, well, crates really aren't my thing. They make me a little nervous, but hey, everyone has their hang-ups, right? What I do love is chasing squirrels, taking baths (yes, I actually enjoy those!), and hanging out with my people. I'm definitely a busy bee, so if you're looking for a dog who's always up for an adventure, I'm your guy. I lived with cats before, and I was cool with them-even if one wasn't a big fan of mine, I just ignored it. As for other dogs, I get along well with the ladies, but I'm not too sure about the boys, so a home with girl dogs would be ideal. When it comes to walks, I'm a certified pro! I won't pull or drag you around-I'm happy to follow your lead. On our outings, I was curious about the geese but didn't get aggressive; I just like to observe. Strangers and other dogs make me a little cautious, but I keep my cool. You could say I'm polite with a hint of shyness in new situations, but with some time and patience, I warm up. I'm really just looking for someone to love who can handle my quirks with patience and understanding. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who's always up for a bath and a good squirrel chase, then I might just be the perfect fit for you!
