Peek-a-Boo! Pongo is popping in to say hi and let you know he is searching for the perfect family. Pongo is pretty relaxed for a puppy, but still a playful ball of fun! Pongo loves spending time outside chasing his sister. He loves chew toys and tennis balls. Pongo has really been showing his personality in his foster home and at events. He is definitely an instant best friend! What is not to love about this giant-headed love bug?! He loves to play and then snuggle up with his human. You’ll be lucky to add this fella to your family! His foster mama says he’s equal parts playful and couch potato! What could be better?! Pongo is currently fostered with some felines. He does like to chase them, but is VERY playful, and doesn’t try to harm them. This smart guy is crate trained and potty trained! Pongo is very treat motivated and smart, if you’re willing to put in the time training him we think he can learn anything! Prudence (aka Pru) would love to find the best family. Her requirements: a loving family, a soft bed to nap on and most importantly endless belly rubs and ear scratches. In return she promises to provide you a life filled with laughter, love, and puppy kisses! When not trying to get attention from her humans, Pru loves chasing tennis balls and chewing on chew toys. She loves jumping and is an absolute JOY to watch. She also loves the great outdoors, especially when it means a game of chase with her brother. In her foster home, Pru lives with some kitties. She does like to give chase, but it’s just her playful nature! This gentle love bug doesn’t have a mean bone in her body! Already crate and potty trained, we think Pru is one smart cookie. Meet Peter—Peter is a sweet, mild mannered boy. He is very timid and wary at the moment, and seems to connect with only one person in the household at a time. He is looking for an adopter with a quieter home, who is patient and willing to work with our trainers, if necessary, to help Peter work through his fears and teach him that he is safe. Peter was raised with other dogs and likes his foster sisters, and would likely be most comfortable in a home with other dogs. He plays very gently and takes his lead from the other dogs. Peter is crate trained and mostly house-trained.

Just like the classic debate- Left Twix versus Right Twix... both sides together ARE THE BEST!!! I am the same way, I am sweet on one side and salty on the other- together we are perfect! I have a tale to tell, however, none of it matters anymore because I am here right now to tell you- the best is yet to come! I am a big love bug, and although I can be nervous at first- I settle in quickly to be just a big couch potato! I am good with other dogs and would love to have a friend for life in my forever home. I am good with calm older dogs, not much for puppy energy all.the.time... :) I love kids, and would be great with school aged/teenagers (and not many others LIKE teenagers so I can be their buddy :) and would be good in a calmer/quieter home. I want so much to please my family and will look to you for love and attention. I also need a strong leadership family- I have tried to take over control in my first adoptive home and it was not appreciated. SO, you need to be my boss, it's not hard- just let me know you are someone I can trust to keep me safe and take EXCELLENT care of me- with love and more love and I will LET you be in control. Simple as that :) I am a big boy, about 75#, with GORGEOUS colors and markings. I will melt your heart when you look into my amber eyes and into my sweet soul. So don't hesitate, ADOPT ME!! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Prince.  This handsome boy was shot and left for dead in a dumpster.  Somehow this brave boy managed to crawl out.  When he was found he had curled up on a couch, gave up, waiting for death.  A volunteer was contacted and we rushed him to the vet. He was shot in the eye, the bullet grazed his brain and lodged in his chest.  He came in with a severe infection in both the eye.  After a week in the ICU, a plasma transfusion and eye removal he is ready for a new home.   Prince is great on a leash, absolutely loves people and is very friendly.  Playing in the water is a favorite hobby of his. However he is cat reactive and needs to be in a cat-free home.  He constantly wants to be with his people.  He will need a privacy or 6 foot fence where he can run safely. Prince was born around 11/2021 and he weighs 50 pounds.  HIs adoption fee is $300.  You can apply for Prince at www.adoggie4you.org.   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225   .
