Rachel was dropped off and ended up near a volunteers house who ended up fostering her. We think she is a Rottweiler/American Bull Terrier/mix. She weighs about 35/40 pounds. She loves kids and people, but we suggest her being in a home with no other dogs as she is dog selective. Rachel is currently at a foster home and this is what the foster has to say about her: "She loves going on walks. She also likes hugs and gives doggie kisses. She'll make someone a excellent best friend. She will be eager to learn." Story
Zuko is an 8 month old sweet puppy currently around 45 pounds. He loves to play, cuddle, and would be a great dog for a family or someone who needs a constant companion. He is great with kids and little ones. He has never bit or nipped at any of our kids and is great with strangers. He rarely barks. Our job and life situation has recently changed and we cannot be with him as much as he needs and tends to get into trouble around the house. He is crate and potty trained. He is completely up to date on all shots and his heart worm/flea monthly medications. He truly is a great boy we just don’t have the ability to give him the love and attention he is craving. This precious rottie mix is Espresso! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 10/23, and no one has come to reclaim her. The volunteers describe Espresso as super sweet and affectionate. She is a young and happy girl who doesn't stay still for long. Espresso is wiggly and playful; she'll need an active family who can keep up with her! She does know how to sit very nicely when asked, and she is quiet in her kennel. Did we mention that Espresso has the softest and silkiest coat?! Puppies are adorable, but they're also a lot of work. Please make sure you have the time, energy, and patience to welcome a puppy into your home and heart. If she sounds like the new BFF you've been searching for, please come meet Espresso! Espresso is approximately 10 months old, and she weighs 58lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and spayed; she will be microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Espresso is waiting patiently in run 859; her ID # is 662822. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
