Story
Lamar is a charming Rottweiler Pitt Bull mix puppy. Bursting with sweetness and energy, he's already mastered several commands including sit, give paw, speak, and lay down. Lamar is crate trained and comfortably sleeps in his crate both at night and during the day for naps. He received the first of his four vaccinations at six weeks old. Unfortunately, due to a family members allergies, we are seeking a loving new home for Lamar. He understands when it's time for water and food and will come with his blankets, food bowls, toys, and teething aids. Looking to find this little pup a fantastic new family! 🐾

Story
Hello, this is Ankha! She is one of the most loyal, sweetest, and beautiful dog to ever exist! She is 10 years old, but she sure doesn't look it, and sure doesn't feel it! She love long walks, hiking, swimming, cuddling, and most importantly, being around people! Family means the world to her, and she love being around people that will let her love them. I am in graduate school, and Ankha recently got into a fight with another dog. I am now being forced to either leave or give up my sweetheart, and because I am not financially able to relocate, I must do the latter. Ankha is SUCH a sweet and smart animal! She is quite dominant, but very social. She does extremely well with big dogs, not so much with smaller ones. She is not aggressive herself, but unfortunately, never shies away from a fight. My last resort is to give my dog up, I love her very much. We are praying that someone, or a family, has it in their heart and circumstances to allow Ankha to live out the rest of her years!

Story
Apollo is an loving ,affectionate American Rottweiler coming from a caring environment. I took Apollo in to help a displaced friend. Apollo has been with me for about 5 months. His 2nd birthday is approaching and I would love for him to celebrate with his forever family. He is great with children and small dogs. I am expecting and I will no longer have the time, energy or strength to care for a growing puppy! I am not expecting any fee for Apollo because every dime should go towards him and his new home. Thank you!

Story
Kiya is a beautiful and affectionate Rottie mix girl. She is very cuddly and affectionate.  She loves to curl up with you on the couch. For being young, she is very low energy. Her favorite thing is to lay around and just chew on one of her toys or bones. She gets along great with other dogs, but she doesn’t have much interest in playing with them, she would rather just hang out. She does like to play with her foster mom.  She would be fine living with other dogs or as an only dog.   She loves to chase squirrels and chipmunks and chasing tennis balls is her favorite thing to do. She also loves her squeaky toys. She’s easily entertained and very goofy. She is crate trained and house broken. She loves her crate. Her current foster crates her at night and also when she is not at home. She will bark at strangers that are outside the house, but she’s fine once they walk in the door. She loves men and women. She loves to go for walks and sniff everything. She walks well most of the time but pulls at times when she sees a squirrel or chipmunk.  She does well with 2Hounds harness and would do even better with more training.  She loves to sniff and finding all the new smells in the yard and in the neighborhood are one of her favorite things to do. She is obedient and listens most of the time but gets a little hard of hearing if you’re calling her and she’s sniffing out a chipmunk in the yard.   She does well in a fenced yard, but if there are gaps, she will squeeze through one. She always comes back, but she needs a secure fence so that she doesn’t get out. She has shown resource guarding with her food and the other dogs in her foster home. She has growled and barked at them when they came near her food. For this reason, her foster feeds her in her kennel. Kiya is fine with this. We don’t know how she would be with resource guarding with humans, because her foster has never tried it. Her foster is able to put her food bowl in her crate and close the door with her in it at meal time.  She is easily distracted when you has something she’s guarding.  You can throw her tennis ball and she’ll chase it and leave what she is guarding. She takes treats gently. Because she resource guards, we are not going to place her in a home with small children. She would do wonderfully in a home with adults and teens.  She loves people.  She is the perfect low-key dog. Age: 1.5 years  Weight: 55 lbs  Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccines, spayed and heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines Temperament: good with bigger kids and other dogs but must feed separately.  Training: House trained, crate trained.   For questions, please email aimiablepetcare@aol.com   To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. November 6, 2024, 12:45 pm

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to ATL💟 Meet Genie🪄 *People: He really loves people! He wags his tail and approaches even strangers! He’s a sweetie who shows affection and asks his family to play with him 🩷 *Dogs: When he meets dog friends during walks, he’s a gentle pup who sits and waits to greet them 🐕 *Separation Anxiety: When given a nose work toy before leaving, he focuses on the treats! Sometimes he waits by the door and falls asleep. *Potty Training: 90% accuracy! He's still a puppy, so he's continuing to learn, and Genie is doing well with it! Occasionally, he has an excitement pee, but it's improving. *Walks: Since his vaccinations aren’t complete, he is only taking light sniffs outside for now! *Hygiene: He doesn’t like baths, but he endures them well 🧼 *Car Sickness: He used to whine in the car, but it seems to be getting better. 💌 Special Notes💌 *Since he is still young, training may be needed for separation anxiety, potty training, biting, whining, mischief, howling, and barking. *Since his father is unknown, it's hard to predict shedding or his adult size. *He doesn’t bark at all, but if he needs something, he whines softly. If you don’t give his food or don’t pay attention to him, he may let out a small “woof!” *During his teething phase, he used to chew on baseboards and doorsteps, but after being redirected to toys, the frequency has decreased, and he’s also biting hands and feet less recently! *He’s learned "sit," "shake," "nose," and "V"! He’s currently learning "spin" and "lie down"! 😎 ❤️ Foster's Instagram: @little_jini

Story
What's not to love about Kam? He's gentle, well-mannered and laid-back.  He's good with other dogs and cats. He's potty-trained, leash-treained and crate-trained. He doesn't chew or dig inappropriately.  He's well-behaved at the vet and tolerates car rides well.   This sweet young boy can be nervous when exposed to new things (people or noises, for example) but he overcomes it quickly and is super-chill once he's comfortable. He's perfectly content chilling in his crate, but also loves to play in the yard and go for a walk.    To make this handsome love-bug part of your pack, apply at www.buttsmutts.com for Kam! ##2073071##
