Story
Meet Dijon, a young, playful, and sweet soul who is filled with energy and loyalty. His goofy antics will keep you laughing, and his bravery shines through in every new situation he encounters. Dijon is great with other dogs, making him a perfect companion for those with canine friends. However, he prefers a home without cats or young children. He requires an experienced owner who can match his energy and guide him. Dijon's playful spirit and unwavering loyalty make him the perfect addition to any family. He is ready to fill a home with laughter, joy, and unconditional love. Adopt Dijon and let his cheerful energy light up your life. Unfortunatley, Dijon does have a history of seizures and must be on prescription medication for the rest of his life. Dijon weighs 105lbs., is approximately 2 years old (est. birth date 05/28/2022), and his adoption fee is $305. Dijon has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Dijon, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. Meeting our dogs is by appointment only. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

Hi, I`m Charlie! I`m a 6-month-old Rottweiler with boundless energy and a love for all things fun! Playtime is my absolute favorite, and I could spend hours chasing toys, chewing on them, and finding new ways to entertain myself. Toys are the best—they keep me busy and bring me so much joy! If you’re looking for a playful, lively pup who’s always ready for a game and eager to share his excitement, I’m your perfect match! Let’s play! ???? Currently, I am available for adoption. Story
Home for the Holidays - Reduced Adoption Fees if Adopted by January 10th!  Shayleen is a very special girl. One of our fosters is sponsoring Shayleen’s full adoption fee.  So Shayleen is ready for her new home.  This beauty will always give you the ultimate fangirl welcome when you walk in the door. Shayleen loves her people and always makes sure they get a proper welcome. She’s never met a stranger, so she sees everyone as ‘her people.’  Shayleen loves to go on leisurely walks with her focus on taking in the good sniffs vs. getting in steps. Shayleen loves to sniff; it seems to be one of her favorite pastimes. She likes to bring one of her favorite toys along while she walks. She seems to think that they appreciate the fresh air, too. Her stuffed ball, rubber kong, and baseball are some of her go-to toys. But, if she doesn’t start her walk with a toy, she will usually find one along the way - maybe a stick? And she can’t miss an opportunity to make a friend. She also loves balls and is willing to fetch them, but she only brings the ball back to you in her own time. She loves her exercise but appreciates her downtime as well. Shayleen has a wonderfully balanced approach to life.  Shayleen is 9-years-old and about 50 pounds. She’s been learning her manners and is becoming quite the polite lady. She doesn’t mind walking on busier trails or around doggy friends but isn’t interested in living with another dog. She’d prefer a place that she could call her own.  If you’re looking for that special someone, apply to adopt Shayleen. For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.   http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms   Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.   Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Please ensure you understand those restrictions prior to choosing a dog. We verify rental policies and adhere to any restrictions.           December 13, 2024, 7:42 am

Story
Shannon is a young athletic Rottweiler/ Pointer mix looking for her forever family! She has a beautiful coat, and an athletic build! Shannon is estimated to be around 1yr old, and weighs 55lbs. She is dog friendly, and very playful. Shannon is working on her house training, crate training, and is learning her basic commands. She has a sweet and friendly personality. This deserving girl was picked up as a stray, then ended up at Walton Animal Control. She soon came down with a respiratory illness. BarkVille Dog Rescue pulled her, and she is now fully healthy and vetted, and ready for her forever family. Shannon has a medium energy level, and would benefit from a family who will provide her basic training and regular exercise. She can jump very high, and will need a tall privacy fenced yard, and owners who will keep an eye on this mischievous girl. Shannon would likely excel with agility training! Since she still needs to fine tune her manners, no small kids for this girl. If you&#39re interested in adopting Shannon, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.November 3, 2024, 9:25 pm

I got Remy from the shelter about 7 months ago. I wanted a friend for my current dog but I am unable to take care of both. She’s really sweet. She loves to cuddle and be pet. She loves anybody she meets. She plays well with other dogs but would rather be an only child.
