Rachel was dropped off and ended up near a volunteers house who ended up fostering her. We think she is a Rottweiler/American Bull Terrier/mix. She weighs about 35/40 pounds. She loves kids and people, but we suggest her being in a home with no other dogs as she is dog selective. Rachel is currently at a foster home and this is what the foster has to say about her: "She loves going on walks. She also likes hugs and gives doggie kisses. She'll make someone a excellent best friend. She will be eager to learn." This beautiful Rottie is Midge! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 11/2, and no one has come to reclaim her. Midge is now hoping for a new, loving home where she will be cherished and cared for. The volunteers describe Midge as being friendly and having a fantastic personality! She is attentive and smart; she knows several commands including sit, lay down, and stay. Midge is approximately 3 years old, and she is a medium-sized dog. Midge is UTD on vaccines, and she will be spayed, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Midge is waiting patiently in run 827; her ID # is 5976. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained.
