Story
Please say hello to this handsome young gentleman named Zion! Zion arrived at the shelter on 12/14 as a lost little boy. Zion is darling, very sweet, quiet and very cute. He is slowly adjusting to his new surroundings despite being placed in a loud, overcrowded shelter. He is simply gorgeous! He is super intelligent as he knows how to sit pretty well, stays, shake, and lay down. Perfect package! He is eager to please and a natural at learning new things. Zion is current on vaccines and neutered; he will be micro-chipped upon adoption. He tested negative for heart worms. Zion is a nice size of 39 pounds and he is just a year old. So he is still pretty young. He is more than ready to meet his new family. You will find Zion patiently waiting for you in Run 22. Zion's ID# is 6976. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Story
Amari is a beautiful girl! She was on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 1/27. Amari is 4 years old and weighs in at 63 pounds. This girl is beautiful and the pictures do not do her justice. She is quiet and gives all her attention to her person. She will sit when asked especially is you have a treat. She is very thin and could use some regular meals to get her to a better weight. Are you already in love with Amari? Ask for ID# 7788 Run 411. She will be spayed soon and micro-chipped upon adoption. She has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. Story
Hi there,My name is Blue! I'm six years old but still so full of energy, excitement, and adventure. I know how to sit and lie down, I love to play and go on walks together. My shelter staff recommends a household with no small children, or any children in particular. I don't seem to mind other dogs, but would prefer to do a meet and greet to see my potential fur-sibling. If you're interested in meeting me, please let my shelter friends know! I'd love to meet you! Story
Shannon is a young athletic Rottweiler/ Pointer mix looking for her forever family! She has a beautiful coat, and an athletic build! Shannon is estimated to be around 1yr old, and weighs 55lbs. She is dog friendly, and very playful. Shannon is working on her house training, crate training, and is learning her basic commands. She has a sweet and friendly personality. This deserving girl was picked up as a stray, then ended up at Walton Animal Control. She soon came down with a respiratory illness. BarkVille Dog Rescue pulled her, and she is now fully healthy and vetted, and ready for her forever family. Shannon has a medium energy level, and would benefit from a family who will provide her basic training and regular exercise. She can jump very high, and will need a tall privacy fenced yard, and owners who will keep an eye on this mischievous girl. Shannon would likely excel with agility training! Since she still needs to fine tune her manners, no small kids for this girl. If you&#39re interested in adopting Shannon, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.November 3, 2024, 9:25 pm
