Story
Meet Reba, a delightful female Rottweiler mix with a loving personality and a zest for life! Reba is a smart and affectionate companion who knows several commands like "sit," "shake," "inside/go inside," and "wait." She's working on mastering "leave it" and extends her waiting time before coming on command. She’s not food aggressive and takes treats gently from your hand. Reba has a unique taste for bananas and seedless mandarin oranges! She sleeps soundly in her crate and stays calm when left alone, showing no signs of separation anxiety. Reba enjoys her walks and is generally good on a leash. While she might pull a bit if she spots a lizard, squirrel, or cat, a gentle tug and the "leave it" command usually do the trick. She loves exploring the backyard, especially hunting for lizards, so she might need some redirection at times. Reba is friendly towards men and women and would likely do well with older kids due to her energy level. She hasn't had the chance to interact with children yet. She loves being near her humans, often following them around the house and staying close by. Though she hasn't shown much interest in toys, she enjoys playing fetch and is always eager for some fun. Reba may get a bit pushy for attention or to go outside, but with a little training, she's improving every day.Overall, Reba is a fantastic dog with a few things to work on. She'd thrive in a loving home that understands her energy and enjoys her playful spirit. If you're looking for a loyal and intelligent companion, Reba might just be the perfect addition to your family! If you would like to meet me, please complete an online questionnaire and one of our adoption counselors will be reaching out to see if I will be a good fit for you and your home.  Hope to see you soon!  https://www.fluffanimalrescue.org/adoption-application. My adoption fee includes my sterilization, microchip and registration, all core vaccines to date, dewormer and 1st month's Flea and Heartworm Preventatives.   Thanks for considering adoption! *Information deemed reliable, but not guarenteed* ##2042824##

Story
Hi-My name is Zeus.I LOVE: toys and the squeaky ones are my favorite. I really like to chase squirrels too. I KNOW: sometimes I pull on the leash but that`s because I`m so happy to be outside. I am a better walker with a harness. The volunteers say a home with older kids would be a good fit. Apartment living would not be a good fit but a big, back yard with room to run and play would be great for this big boy.IF YOU`RE LOOKING FOR: an adventure buddy, I`m the one for you. I`m always ready, let`s go! I AM SPECIAL BECAUSE: I`m a social guy and want to be friends with everyone I meet, furry and non-furry.

**ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN FLORIDA ** Ever want a dog you can flip into “sport mode”? It’s me! Pick me!  I would love to do some doggie sports with you! In fact I thrive on them. I started out slow with fetch and learning how to walk nicely on the leash, but I'm ready to move on to bigger things. Maybe I'd enjoy dock diving or fast CAT. I have a high drive and want to please the humans I love, but I'm perfectly fine being crated. I would do best as an only dog or as a member of a crate and rotate pack. My adopter should have a fenced in yard that I can run in and have experience with sports dogs. I'm excellent when I get my energy out, but I can be destructive without exercise. About me: my name is Poe, I am about 1.5 years old now. I’m a neutered male with a factory tail. Story
Meet Theo He is a very loveable Rottie! The Rottie looks with a SUPER sweet personality great for any experience level. 5.5 years old ~ Neutered Microchipped UTD on vaccinations On HW prevention House trained, Crate trained, Good leash manners, Knows Sit, Come, Door Manners, Kennel, Leave-it Good with most dogs , best paired with a female unless you have heavy breed experience Good with all the people he has met Good with children over 10 No small animals, or Cats No livestock Doesn't need an overly active lifestyle. He's fine to just lay and chill all day with his people 2 good walks a day and some play is all this boy needs He needs to stay on a high protein/fat diet to maintain weight Just wants someone to love and give him his best life A note from foster- He is a lovely boy and has done very well! He loves to play and hang out. At bedtime he is happy to run to his crate for his nighttime cookie! He loves to sunbathe in the yard and watch the world go by. He's good with the female dog he is paired with for play. He also loves the water hose!! He goes bananas to get wet. With a simple leave it, he will not chase the water spray. Overall he is going to make someone a wonderful dog! A little patience at first does a world of wonders for him to warm up quickly. We don't know the life he lived but we are showing him the good life is there. Intake story Transfer from a rescue so that we could help him find a forever home as we have experience with this breed. He was originally found dumped at Chamberlain High School in Tampa. We will be offering continuing training if you are within 50 miles of us and a discounted rate. If you would like to Foster, also please reach out! We supply everything!

Story
Eve is a special girl looking for a special adopter. Eve came to us after being found as a stray and in rough shape. Eve has clearly birthed a lot of litters in her life and hasn't been shown the best care. She seems to have never known the comforts of the inside of a home, but she is slowly learning and starting to enjoy the finer things in life. Eve is estimated to be between 4 and 7 years old. She's still a little underweight at 65 pounds, but we're working on that. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccines and preventions and heartworm negative. Eve is looking for an adopter with a lot of patience and compassion. Eve did not come from a great place and is very hand shy, especially around her head. She will need slow introductions and food is always helpful. Once she trusts you, and it doesn't take long, she does so wholeheartedly. She is a very sweet and loving girl. Eve has most likely never lived inside a home. She is not housebroken. She is doing well, and will do well, with a consistent and regular routine and schedule. She is also learning about a crate and is doing well with that. She also has finally started using dog beds and has picked a few favorites. Eve is dog friendly. Although her social skills aren't the best, she tends to be a little jumpy with other dogs in an effort to play, and she doesn't understand personal space with other dogs. She's had zero negative reactions with other dogs, even when they haven't been fans of her approach. She would do best with tolerant, submissive dogs that won't hurt her. Eve herself is not a well bred rottie and there are some things that will seem off about her. Her tongue will hang out. She doesn't seem "right", but she does get things with consistency and patience. She has learned to sit very nicely for her meals. Eve is a sweet girl, who is ready to be shown a life that she's missed out on. * we are recommending children be 12 and older for Eve * fenced in yard preferred as she is still a bit unfamiliar with a leash * travel time for adoption not to exceed 1.5 hours from Spring Hill (34610) ** PLEASE EMAIL ALL INQUIRIES DIRECTLY TO LOVETOTHERESCUEINC@GMAIL.COM **

Story
Uncle Ted is estimated to be 12 years old, he's everything bit of that and maybe more. He weighs about 60 pounds, is neutered, up to date on all vaccines and preventions and is heartworm negative. He's housebroken and a complete joy. Uncle Ted is looking for a new beginning for the end of his life. He's a sweet old man with an amazing disposition and outlook on life. Uncle Ted loves people and REALLY loves other dogs. He's not the typical senior, who just wants to sit back and watch the world go by, rather Uncle Ted loves to get into the mix of things and can be frequently found trying to keep up with the younger group in the home. Thankfully, he's found a few that can "wrestle" gently with a fragile old man. Uncle Ted has no idea he's a senior!! And he would love other playful friends as long as they won't hurt him Uncle Ted has end stage arthritis and is currently in 2 different medications, librela injections and joint supplements. His gait is stiff and gimpy, giving him the appearance that he's had too many, so we lovingly refer to him as a Boozehound or Drunkweiler. Uncle Ted is THAT fun Uncle that you love seeing on holidays!! If you are interested in adding this life of the party senior to your home ***PLEASE EMAIL ALL INQUIRIES DIRECTLY TO LOVETOTHERESCUEINC@GMAIL.COM ****
