Mike is a 1.5-year-old full German Rottweiler / Czech Shepherd who needs a loving, experienced home. Due to serious health issues in our family, we are heartbroken to rehome him, this decision is purely about giving him the active life he deserves. I am unable to do so due to major spine injury. Mr Mike is neutered, up to date on shots, house trained (no accidents in over a year), and crate trained. ( comes with his crate, “room” Mike is fun, playful, and very affectionate. He has high energy and needs daily exercise, once he has had a good run around.. hes a big lovable floor potato. Will make an excellent guard dog. Hes very smart!! He knows sit, lay, paw, roll over, and touch. He is leash trained but very strong and needs an experienced handler. He may bark/pull toward other dogs but has never harmed anyone. Was doing great with trainer on pulling with gentle leader leash. He will be an amazing dog!! He’s loyal, protective, and will be an amazing companion in the right home.

Flint is a big, handsome boy with a strong presence and an even stronger sweet side. He can look a little intimidating at first, especially when he jumps up on his kennel, but don’t let that fool you — he’s truly a gentle soul. Flint just needs a little time to warm up, and once he does, his affectionate nature shines through. He absolutely loves other dogs — big dogs, small dogs, and even puppies — and does great having canine friends. One of his favorite comforts is a squeaky toy ball, which he’s happiest keeping in his kennel. Flint would do best with someone patient who can see past first impressions and give him the chance to show the loving, loyal companion he really is.

I started out slow with fetch and learning how to walk nicely on the leash, but I'm ready to move on to bigger things. Maybe I'd enjoy dock diving or fast CAT. I have a high drive and want to please the humans I love, but I'm perfectly fine being crated. I would do best as an only dog or as a member of a crate and rotate pack. My adopter should have a fenced in yard that I can run in and have experience with sports dogs. I'm excellent when I get my energy out, but I can be destructive without exercise. Brandy was originally rescued from a death sentence by her foster mom wanting to make sure Brandy received the medical care she needed for a torn ACL. Once the medical care was completed the family had hopes of rehoming her due to increased agression toward their first dog who is anxious and deaf. After being unsuccessful in finding her a home, they reached out to Satchel's for help. Brandy appears to have had a bad start to life but received care and love in her last home and is now looking to continue that love in a forever home. Although it was a difficult decision to give Brandy up, the home was just not the right one for Brandy and they knew Satchel's could help find that perfect home. Brandy takes her time warming up to you. She wants to know you’ll be good to her before she opens her heart to you. Once Brandy gets comfortable with you her personality comes out. She is playful and loves to give you hugs! Brandy walks very well on the leash, and she knows basic tricks: sit, lay down and shake. Brandy may be best suited as the only dog in the house because of the reactivity shown in her last home. But, there is a possibility that with the right pairing she will thrive with a doggy sibling! Note from a volunteer: "Brandy is smart, smart, smart smart! Maybe the smartest belle at satchels. She is an exceptionally obedient sweetpea. Petite and loves to fetch."
