Meet Reba, a delightful female Rottweiler mix with a loving personality and a zest for life! Reba is a smart and affectionate companion who knows several commands like "sit," "shake," "inside/go inside," and "wait." She's working on mastering "leave it" and extends her waiting time before coming on command. She’s not food aggressive and takes treats gently from your hand. Reba has a unique taste for bananas and seedless mandarin oranges! She sleeps soundly in her crate and stays calm when left alone, showing no signs of separation anxiety. Reba enjoys her walks and is generally good on a leash. While she might pull a bit if she spots a lizard, squirrel, or cat, a gentle tug and the "leave it" command usually do the trick. She loves exploring the backyard, especially hunting for lizards, so she might need some redirection at times. Reba is friendly towards men and women and would likely do well with older kids due to her energy level. She hasn't had the chance to interact with children yet. She loves being near her humans, often following them around the house and staying close by. Though she hasn't shown much interest in toys, she enjoys playing fetch and is always eager for some fun. Reba may get a bit pushy for attention or to go outside, but with a little training, she's improving every day.Overall, Reba is a fantastic dog with a few things to work on. Luna is my son’s dog - I have been helping him with her for the last two months but I have other two big dogs and it’s impossible to have them all in my place. Meet lovely, sweet Rose! She is such an affectionate, grateful, and happy girl. She loves playing fetch and she would have a toy in her mouth 24/7 if she could! She has the perfect pup smile and lights up any time you give her a head rub or pick up a toy to play with her. She would love a fenced in yard where she can run and play fetch with you. She loves going for walks and car rides. Sweet Rose loves to cuddle with humans and Iris on the couch (they might even lay on each other to get closer to you). She’s interested in cats but may scare them due to her excited nature. Meet beautiful Iris! She has a sweet, gentle nature and loves to play and wrestle with Rose. Iris needs a patient, understanding home with a predictable routine. She can be a little skittish in new or unfamiliar environments, but she has shown that she warms up to people rather quickly. She has the most expressive eyes and the cutest deer-tail (her little, excited tail wiggles are the best). He was found abandoned at a camp ground and then was brought in at a rural shelter in Alabama. We were contacted by one of their volunteers to help save him. Echo truly is a shining star! He enjoys playing with other dogs, and he has a rough play style. He loves to fetch and if his ball rolls under the couch- he can usually get it without help. He is very athletic! He can jump high and climb things. He is working on his house manners and respecting what are toys and what are not toys. He needs to have strong leadership in his household and breed experience. He has come a long way with his leash manners and is doing well with heal, sit, down and stay. He will receive further training from DNA dog training upon placement in a home to ensure he has fully mastered all the basics and his new owners can confidently transition his skills. Echo is vibrant and always down for an adventure. He is approved at Downtown Doggie Center where he goes once a week to make new friends his play style and stayed overnight while his foster parents were out of town. He does need to be crated when he is not supervised as he still has big puppy curiosity. Echo is also very loving and will sit in his foster mom’s lap and give kisses. He enjoys pets and being told what a good boy he is. Echo will make his future family very happy!
