Story
Eve is a special girl looking for a special adopter. Eve came to us after being found as a stray and in rough shape. Eve has clearly birthed a lot of litters in her life and hasn't been shown the best care. She seems to have never known the comforts of the inside of a home, but she is slowly learning and starting to enjoy the finer things in life. Eve is estimated to be between 4 and 7 years old. She's still a little underweight at 65 pounds, but we're working on that. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccines and preventions and heartworm negative. Eve is looking for an adopter with a lot of patience and compassion. Eve did not come from a great place and is very hand shy, especially around her head. She will need slow introductions and food is always helpful. Once she trusts you, and it doesn't take long, she does so wholeheartedly. She is a very sweet and loving girl. Eve has most likely never lived inside a home. She is not housebroken. She is doing well, and will do well, with a consistent and regular routine and schedule. She is also learning about a crate and is doing well with that. She also has finally started using dog beds and has picked a few favorites. Eve is dog friendly. Although her social skills aren't the best, she tends to be a little jumpy with other dogs in an effort to play, and she doesn't understand personal space with other dogs. She's had zero negative reactions with other dogs, even when they haven't been fans of her approach. She would do best with tolerant, submissive dogs that won't hurt her. Eve herself is not a well bred rottie and there are some things that will seem off about her. Her tongue will hang out. She doesn't seem "right", but she does get things with consistency and patience. She has learned to sit very nicely for her meals. Eve is a sweet girl, who is ready to be shown a life that she's missed out on. * we are recommending children be 12 and older for Eve * fenced in yard preferred as she is still a bit unfamiliar with a leash * travel time for adoption not to exceed 1.5 hours from Spring Hill (34610) ** PLEASE EMAIL ALL INQUIRIES DIRECTLY TO LOVETOTHERESCUEINC@GMAIL.COM **

Story
Uncle Ted is estimated to be 12 years old, he's everything bit of that and maybe more. He weighs about 60 pounds, is neutered, up to date on all vaccines and preventions and is heartworm negative. He's housebroken and a complete joy. Uncle Ted is looking for a new beginning for the end of his life. He's a sweet old man with an amazing disposition and outlook on life. Uncle Ted loves people and REALLY loves other dogs. He's not the typical senior, who just wants to sit back and watch the world go by, rather Uncle Ted loves to get into the mix of things and can be frequently found trying to keep up with the younger group in the home. Thankfully, he's found a few that can "wrestle" gently with a fragile old man. Uncle Ted has no idea he's a senior!! And he would love other playful friends as long as they won't hurt him Uncle Ted has end stage arthritis and is currently in 2 different medications, librela injections and joint supplements. His gait is stiff and gimpy, giving him the appearance that he's had too many, so we lovingly refer to him as a Boozehound or Drunkweiler. Uncle Ted is THAT fun Uncle that you love seeing on holidays!! If you are interested in adding this life of the party senior to your home ***PLEASE EMAIL ALL INQUIRIES DIRECTLY TO LOVETOTHERESCUEINC@GMAIL.COM ****

Story
Maggie is looking for her FOREVER HOME! We rescued this sweetheart a couple weeks ago from Hernando County Animal Services. She was a volunteer favorite. She had been brought into the shelter when her elderly owner became sick and went into the hospital. She doesn’t let this get her down as she is the happiest pup and loves everyone she meets. Let’s share her post far and wide to get her into a PERFECT Happily Ever After by Christmas! Maggie is a 4 year old (appears to be a Rottweiler/ Hound mix) she weighs 75 lbs. she is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and up to date with shots. She is dog friendly, potty trained and crate trained. She is extremely sweet and loving and craves attention and a person of her own. She thinks she is a 20 lb lap dog. She is very Special and will make some lucky family a wonderful companion!! She is in a loving foster home with in Crystal River, Florida. If you are interested in meeting this sweetheart please go to our website at rescuedogsdream.com and complete an application. Background check, reference and vet checks will be completed prior to meeting.

Story
Meet Theo He is a very loveable Rottie! The Rottie looks with a SUPER sweet personality great for any experience level. 5.5 years old ~ Neutered Microchipped UTD on vaccinations On HW prevention House trained, Crate trained, Good leash manners, Knows Sit, Come, Door Manners, Kennel, Leave-it Good with most dogs , best paired with a female unless you have heavy breed experience Good with all the people he has met Good with children over 10 No small animals, or Cats No livestock Doesn't need an overly active lifestyle. He's fine to just lay and chill all day with his people 2 good walks a day and some play is all this boy needs He needs to stay on a high protein/fat diet to maintain weight Just wants someone to love and give him his best life A note from foster- He is a lovely boy and has done very well! He loves to play and hang out. At bedtime he is happy to run to his crate for his nighttime cookie! He loves to sunbathe in the yard and watch the world go by. He's good with the female dog he is paired with for play. He also loves the water hose!! He goes bananas to get wet. With a simple leave it, he will not chase the water spray. Overall he is going to make someone a wonderful dog! A little patience at first does a world of wonders for him to warm up quickly. We don't know the life he lived but we are showing him the good life is there. Intake story Transfer from a rescue so that we could help him find a forever home as we have experience with this breed. He was originally found dumped at Chamberlain High School in Tampa. We will be offering continuing training if you are within 50 miles of us and a discounted rate. If you would like to Foster, also please reach out! We supply everything!
