adoption donation : $699 weight 16 lbs Age: 5 months as of 9/15 Laverne and Shirley are adorable, friendly and sweet puppies who were found abandoned in a rural area of Mississippi. They are mixes, but appear to have some Rottweiler in them. They couldn’t be sweeter! They are full of kisses and wiggles and love to romp and play and then snuggle together for a puppy nap The puppies have had vaccinations, but will be spayed when they are older. Wags will pay for the procedure at one of the clinics that we use in the northeast or reimburse adopters what we pay if they choose to use their own vet. Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. Mariel was dumped in a box unable to walk.After a few months of exercise and good nutrition she is walking on her own. She doesn't walk all the time but is getting stronger everyday. She does have a cart she uses to help strengthen her legs and that will go with her. She is keeping her crate clean and trying to make it outside to potty. She can get herself downstairs but still needs helping getting up.

Adam is a 2 yr old, Rottweiler mix, he is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Adam is a playful and affectionate dog with much energy. He has a charming personality that really shines when he plays with his toys (he likes the squeak). However he can be frightened of loud noised and is leery of men. A calm home that is willing to let him open up in his own time would be best, and a home with children over the age of 10yrs old is recommended for Adam. He would do best in a home without cats, and will need basic obedience training as well as leash work.
