I'm healthy now and ready for adoption.I'm not always the easiest dog to manage, but I've had formal training and a few foster families to help me learn how to behave in a home. I've learned a lot, but still have some learning to do. I'm very smart so I know I can continue to learn more.I love running around, cuddling and playing with other dogs. I'm very high energy, love to go on walks, but can be reactive to triggers when on leash. Another dog in the home would be great, but that dog would need to be able to handle my energy level. I need a yard to get my daily zoomies in.If I'm going to be left alone, I need to be confined in a dog proof area or in a crate. I'm not suited for apartment life. I can be shy with strangers at first, but I'm quick to fall in love with most people. Although I've been supervised around young children and did great with them, I tend to jump and play nip when excited so would do best in a dog experienced adult home.I might do ok with cats. ECHO…Echo…echo… just like the sounds that bounce off canyon walls, this fun and zippy girl likes to bounce around too! She is one spunky spitfire with the smarts to go with! Sweet and petite (she looks way bigger in her photos but is really only 53 pounds tall) she is a go getter and LOVES to have fun. Her love language? Sniffaris. She really enjoys walks and hikes where she can explore her environment. She loves to watch the world and all the exciting things happening in it! She would make a great sport partner for someone who is willing to keep her focused and make it fun for her. Some thoughts on this? Disc, Fast Cat, Barn Hunt, Dock Diving – she is fast, agile and willing. She loves to learn and try new things. She also loves to run and jump! Her nickname? Dinosaur. Sometimes she likes to walk on two legs. (Is there a dog sport where this might come in handy?) Echo was surrendered to a high-volume shelter in LA when her family decided they couldn’t keep up with her energy. Unfortunately, this is a common path for many high drive dogs, and when they get to the shelter with nothing to do, their energy doesn’t dissipate, so unless someone is ready for a skyrocket (which we are) an amazing dog like this gets passed up. We love her drive and energy and look for exactly those qualities, however, Echo is a girl with not only many talents, but many interests too, so she wanted to do other things besides just work. Hey folks, I`m Rock!I`m not only handsome as heck, but I`m pretty smart and know some commands, like `sit` where I sit like the king I am, and `shake` where I shake like a true gentleman. I also really enjoy long walks and playing with toys, along with lots of training which keeps my mind active. I`m gonna be honest with you, I have some separation anxiety. If I`m left alone in my new home, I will need to be crated at first until I learn that my people are coming back, and have not abandoned me.
