This big, waggly boy has an entertaining personality and loves engaging with his human friends through play, affection, and a few charming tricks. Playful and people-focused: Kenji is enjoys interacting with his people. He may get excited and bounce up a little sometimes, but is easily redirected to “sit.” Smart and eager to show off: He knows “sit” and proudly offers both “paw” and “other paw,” with an enthusiastic flourish. Affectionate companion: When called, Kenji happily comes bouncing over and leans in for back scritches. Toy lover: Kenji enjoys chasing a tossed ball, pouncing on it, and bringing it back before spitting it out to you to keep the game going. Ella is fully house-trained and very patient with the three cats she lives with. She's never lived with kids but is generally chill with the children in the neighborhood.   She loves her toys, playing fetch, tug of war games, following you around the house, and of course, napping. Ella wants to be involved in whatever you're doing and is alert to someone coming to the door. She is highly food motivated, Ella picks up new tricks quickly but can be stubborn and easily distracted, so she needs lots of consistent positive reinforcement to maintain behavioral changes. She has many opinions and she will let you know about them.   Ella also plays well with other dogs, although sometimes she has issues with dogs larger than she is, but is good at de-escalating potential conflicts.
