Milo is a 9 year-old mixed breed dog. He is a good training buddy and highly food motivated. He has taken a number of training classes and knows many cues. On a day to day basis he's an easy dog who sleeps most of the day, while still enjoying walks and hiking. He's very healthy and regularly gets mistaken for a much younger dog. He walks well on leash. Away from the home he is friendly to strangers and non dog reactive. In the home he is overly excited by new people and takes awhile to settle. He loves all people, he just gets worked up at first. He is very anxious about babies and toddlers and needs a home without young children. We are rehoming him because he is extremely anxious around our newborn. Milo would be a good companion for someone looking for a constant companion who enjoys daily cuddles. If you enjoy dog training, he'll train all day with you.

Bandit is the perfect combination of sweet and shy that makes your heart melt. While his pictures make him look big, he is actually a pocket sized rottweiler mix at about 55 pounds. He loves his trusted humans unconditionally and wants to shadow you whenever he can. Bandit is guaranteed to add lots of love, kisses and cuddles to your life. Where there is warmth you will find Bandit; warmth from the sun, from a heater, from a fur friend or from a human. He sometimes thinks he’s a lap dog and will plop himself on your lap for a nap, taking comfort in being with his human. Bandit has lived with small dogs, dogs his size, adult men, and adult women and has done well with all. He does take a moment to warm up to new people, sounds, and places but generally his reaction to these new scary things is to cower a little. Once he has warmed up, he loves to give his new friends kisses and cuddles. Bandit is always happy to see his humans when they come home and gives you all smiles. It is truly heartwarming to be part of his journey and to see his growth as a fearful dog. Bandit has been failed multiple times and was almost euthanized at Stanislaus Animal Services due to overcrowding and because everyone would pass right by this scared boy shaking in his kennel. Molly is a smart, well-mannered and obedient Doberman-whippet mix. We got her from a local animal shelter in 2017. She is protective of her home and family. I have been trying to recover from a back injury that is taking much longer than I had hoped, and that coupled with the attention my two young children (three-year-old and a newborn) require, has meant that we can't provide Molly the attention she needs (I physically cannot walk her and my wife doesn't have the time or energy) and I can tell it is affecting her. She has become withdrawn and spends most of her time alone instead of with us like she used to.
