Story
Meet Willow, a sweet adult dog who is as independent as she is brave. She's incredibly smart, which shines through in her playful antics and loyal demeanor. Willow thrives in a quiet home environment where she can enjoy her own space and time and would do well with a mature adult person or couple and no young children. She gets along well with cats, but can be selective with her canine companions so being an only dog is an option. Willow is eager to be part of a family again and have her own home, and she is a good watchdog who will alert you if a stranger comes to your home.. Willow lived her first few years with a retired couple and slept in their bed with them. Sadly her daddy became ill and they had to rehome her. Despite her independent spirit, Willow still loves to engage in walks on her leash and other fun activities and to show her affectionate side to those she trusts. She will spend her day on your lap watching tv ( she is housebroken) and knows how to use a dog door to let herself outside to potty, lay in the sun or play in the water in her kiddie pool. She would make an ideal companion for those seeking a loyal and playful friend. Willow's unique blend of sweetness, friendliness, and independence, coupled with her bravery and loyalty, makes her a wonderful choice for adoption. She is ready to bring joy, laughter, and companionship to her forever home. Adoption fee is $250.. Email us at ALPHADOGPETRESCUE@YAHOO.COM and ask for our adoption application.

Story
Hey there, future friend! I`m Larry, the Rottweiler with a heart as big as my paws. Let`s dive into my quirky world and discover all the reasons why we might just be the perfect match – even if I come with a few funny little quirks!Sudden sounds and unexpected surprises might make me jump, but hey, life`s all about those exciting leaps, right? Just imagine us navigating the world together, ready to face surprises head-on, even if they result in a playful hop!I`m all about the grown-up vibes, so let`s keep the party strictly for the adults. Kids are fun, but my happy place is with mature pals who can understand my quirks and give me the space I need to feel at ease. Together, we can create a world where laughter and understanding go hand in paw.As we speak, I`m brushing up on my leash skills, so you`ll have the pleasure of watching me transform from a bumbling beginner to a leash-walking champ.Give SPARC a call to set up a meet-and-greet – let`s start our hilariously heartwarming journey together! From startle jumps to leash-walking triumphs, we`ll tackle it all with a dose of laughter and a whole lot of tail wags. I can`t wait to meet you and share some giggles!

Available to foster or adopt!Breed: Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Chihuahua, Boxer, Great Dane, Pit Bull and Peruvian Inca Orchid X DOB: 8/2022 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: medium Color(s): black / red brown Description:***Needs a Foster Home***This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online foster application.Hi, I'm Sonora, a beautiful, joyful and entertaining Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Chihuahua, Boxer, Great Dane, Pit Bull and Peruvian Inca Orchid X, whew that was a mouthful, (dna test) who is in need of a forever home. I had a rough start in life and was found abandoned in the mountains in Sonora, Mexico (hence my name) with a head injury and very sick as a puppy. Some vacationing hikers found me and brought me back to the US to take care of me. I'm healthy now and ready for adoption.I'm not always the easiest dog to manage, but I've had formal training and a few foster families to help me learn how to behave in a home. I've learned a lot, but still have some learning to do. I'm very smart so I know I can continue to learn more.I love running around, cuddling and playing with other dogs. I'm very high energy, love to go on walks, but can be reactive to triggers when on leash. Another dog in the home would be great, but that dog would need to be able to handle my energy level. I need a yard to get my daily zoomies in.If I'm going to be left alone, I need to be confined in a dog proof area or in a crate. I'm not suited for apartment life. I can be shy with strangers at first, but I'm quick to fall in love with most people. Although I've been supervised around young children and did great with them, I tend to jump and play nip when excited so would do best in a dog experienced adult home.I might do ok with cats. A couple of the foster homes had cats and I ignored them or left them alone, but I was never unattended with them.If you're looking for an active great gal and can give me the structure and environment that I need to thrive, please put in an application to meet me. Minimum 6 foot fence.November 7, 2024, 11:05 am

Story
Slimer recently had an amazing day away from the shelter in the real world with a volunteer. His volunteer friend says `I learned that he totally ignores other dogs even if they’re reacting to him when we’re out and about. I didn’t expect to hear “he’s a shelter dog? Really? But he’s so clean” “but he looks so healthy” “but he came right up to me to socialize” “but he’s so well behaved in the store”. We are empowered to educate the public [about how great shelter dogs can be] and get them involved. (Well, I am, Slimer is empowered to beg cashiers for treats.)` Slimer would love to go home and on more adventures, with you!

Story
Shaolin is a loving two-year-old female Rottweiler who was rescued from a hoarding situation, where she spent her first six months confined in a crate with her littermates. Though it takes her time to warm up to new people, she never bites; she simply barks at strangers. Shaolin responds well to treats and belly rubs, which help her feel safe. She is crate trained and has a fondness for vegetables like celery and carrots. Shaolin loves to run and walk, getting excited on her leash. She hasn’t interacted with children, cats, or other dogs except her sister Bleu, a mixed breed. Sweet and affectionate, she melts in your arms. Due to the wildfires in Southern California, I must move to a place where her breed isn’t allowed. Sadly, rescues and shelters are at capacity, and some have suggested mercy killing, which I cannot accept. Shaolin deserves love and care; she truly is the best dog.

Story
DUCKY IS in FOSTER NEAR HESPERIA CA She is a very sweet WHITE Boxer girl who weighs about 40-45 pounds. We rescued her from a high kill shelter, where she came in as a stray and soon gave birth to a litter of adorable brindle & fawn puppies. DUCKY is good with the Aussies in her foster home and has been great with other little dogs and with cats, rides great in a car and although very playful, she is gentle and well behaved. Ducky had a rough go of it having her babies in a cold shelter and she is a little thin and weary, eating plenty of good food and gaining needed weight. Pups have been weaned, are fat and healthy and have been adopted. Mommy is so so so sweet and gentle and would make an awesome pet to anyone. Her blankets are neat and clean and she is not destructive. Enjoys walking on leash and adores company and attention. Please email Alphadogpetrescue@yahoo.com to ask for our adoption application to adopt Ducky and make her your own best friend. Her adoption fee is $375, fully vetted, spayed and microCHIPPED
