Meet your New Best Friend at an Adoption Event near you! Arasha is thinking about coming to an adoption event near you very soon. If you’d like to learn more about this pup and their fluffy friends who are looking for their furever homes, check out our website: https://amazingdogs.org/available-dogs/ If you would like to reserve this doggie and have us bring them to the event of your choice for you to meet first, you can do so by paying a non-refundable deposit of $50 to our Venmo or Zelle account (619-918 2142 in the name of Amazing Dogs; pls indicate your telephone number). This deposit will go towards the adoption fee. After receipt of your deposit, we will confirm your reservation and list the doggie on our website as ‘Pending Adoption’. If you decide not to adopt one of our Amazing Dogs, the $50 is considered a compensation for the transportation costs. All our doggies come with their health record and have received all necessary medical care, which includes (but is not limited to) all vaccines, de-wormer, anti-flea/tick medication, microchip and of course spay/neuter surgery. Our adoption fee is $500. Only in California, the fee for babies under a year old is $600. Please consider this not as a price you pay for the doggie, but as a (tax-deductible) donation to our charity, so we can continue our work and take care of the 250+ dogs in our shelter. Read more about why we charge adoption fees here: https://amazingdogs.org/adoption-fees/ If you have any additional inquiries, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via call or text. We are excited to meet you at our upcoming adoption event! Contact before event: Sandra Garcia T (408) 477-0553. Story
Rocky is a Rottweiler Mix, his estimated date of birth is 2/7/12 and he weighs 75 lbs. He is up to date on all of his shots and he is fixed. Rocky is OK with people but is not good with kids, cats, or small dogs. Rocky has a habit of jumping and he has a tendency to try to escape so he would need a home that was very secure. Rocky has food aggression and is very possessive of toys and people. He can sometimes have an over protective drive to certain people.  Rocky can be very vocal and would require a home with a lot of space as Rocky prefers to roam and would become destructive if restricted in a small space. Rocky is not good with new people or places and can be aggressive to other male dogs. He requires regular grooming and requires a special diet. Rocky is afraid of water and can become agitated by running water or large areas of water. He has a habit of dumping out his water dish. Rocky is not good on a leash despite repeated training and still has issues with house training and marking. We do not have a central location to see our dogs.  Meeting any dog is by appointment ONLY currently. Appointments can be set up to meet any dog in San Diego. Currently we are unable to do any out-of-state adoptions. If you are interested in a particular dog please FILL OUT an Adoption Application at our website @ http://bajadogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt/adopt and we can schedule you for an appointment to meet with a particular dog if it is available. We do require an application if you are interested in adoption.  If you are interested in potentially adopting please fill out an application at http://bajadogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt/adopt. Your application will be reviewed and you will be placed on a waiting list for the dog(s). If your name comes up on the waiting list(s) we will contact you. Story
Oliver is a young, energetic, Rottie boy that is sweet and sensitive and great with people. He will need someone who is willing to put time into training but Oliver is receptive and willing, and with that, he will be an amazing canine companion. Oliver is good with other large dogs, we have not had him with small dogs or cats. He will chase livestock so he needs to be a city boy. If he's to be outside unsupervised, his home must have a six foot fence.

Story
Rebar is a beautiful long-coated rottweiler. He is sweet, calm, and easy going. Rebar Is happy to be in the house chilling with his people or playing with his toys. He is purebred and was sold as a puppy but now that he's an adult, he was dumped by the freeway, and ended up on the shelters kill list. The person that bred him had aleady gotten his money and refused to take him back and rehome him as a responsible breeder would do. Rebar has a stocky, muscular build and deserves the respinsible loving home he should have had all along.

Story
Kona Female 3.5yrs old Approx 65-70lbs. Rescued from Riverside Shelter the day she was set to euthanized for URI. She looks like she was used for breeding. She is timid, sweet and loyal and loving as can be. She greets new people hesitantly but kindly. Walks beautifully on a leash. She is small dog selective so we prefer no small dogs, or small children. She currently lives with a Male Rottie and they get along wonderfully. She is potty trained w/doggie door, takes treats gently. She waits for command (OK) to eat her food. She loves her toys!! She loves going for car rides. She’s a good girl and can be the ONLY dog OR good with another male her size or larger.

Walks well on leash, no pulling at all, loves to take naps in the yard. Tabitha is doing well with crate training, needs a slow feeder for her meals. Without it she will eat so quickly that she gags.
