Meet Coco, a resilient and loving 9-year-old Rottweiler with a heart as big as her spirit. Despite living with Masticatory Muscle Myositis, an immune system disorder that affects her jaw muscles, Coco remains a joyful and athletic companion. This condition means she can’t open her mouth all the way, so she’s on a special home-cooked diet rich in meat and eggs to keep her strength up and takes a daily pill to manage her condition. Coco adores her walks and can be a bit of a puller on the leash if she spots another dog, but she’s always great with people. She’s super athletic and enjoys her time outdoors. Although she can’t play with toys or chew on treats due to her condition, she loves liquid treats and is happy and content in the car. A total sweetheart with a loving demeanor, Coco is also fine being left alone for periods. She’s looking for a compassionate home where she can continue to thrive and enjoy her walks, special meals, and the affection she so generously gives. If you’re ready to provide a warm and understanding environment, Coco will repay you with endless love and loyalty.

I am easy going, very kind, and just enjoy all the comforts home has to offer. I'm in the market for a forever best friend Is that you? Can't wait to catch up and see if we are a good match! *please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet. Pumpkin is an absolute sweetheart who was rescued from south LA. She was completely shut down when we discovered her and she has blossomed back into her loving self after a month of training. She is a 1.5 year-old petite rottweiler who plays well with other dogs of all sizes. She has a calm temperament, walks great on a leash, and is crate trained. She is timid and is best suited in a household with another dog and calm older kids to allow her to come out of her shell.
