I’m like a fine wine, aged to perfection. I’m Mikey, a handsome older fella and I’m ready to spend my retirement with you. I came to High Country Humane because my owner passed away. I’m just focused on where I’ll spend my golden years. I should tell you a bit about myself. I’m as devoted as I am easy to please. And one of my favorite things to do is napping in that sunny spot on the floor. I’ve previously lived with dogs and we peacefully coexisted. I would love to meet any potential dog friends you may have for me. I am potty trained, and I go well on a leash. I have no experience with kids but my caretakers think I would do well. I am nervous to meet you at first but once I've adjusted, I LOVE people! Getting into cars can be scary, but once I am in I enjoy car rides. I also love going for walks! If I sound like your next pal, then come meet me! I want to show you how laid-back four-legged living is done. I have plenty of love left to give because love doesn’t keep track of years. Contact my foster at (602) 820-0211 to meet me! Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5 each. The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!

Hi there! My name is Kaitlyn. I am a sweet and playful dog who thrives on human companionship. I love meeting new people and I am looking for a loving home where I can be the center of attention and your go to adventure buddy. I like being outside and going on walks. I am still getting used to being on a leash, but treats, love, and leash training can help with that. Also I love to play, my favorite toys to play with are the durable toys. They are so much fun. I am very under socialized with animals. I don`t like female dogs, small dogs, or cats. However, I am a little more comfortable with male dogs that are my size or bigger, but I can be selective.
