Titan is available through our "Adopt From a Foster Home" program. Please email adopt@calgaryhumane.ca if you are interested in scheduling a meeting. Please do not make an appointment through our online booking calendar, as Titan is not available to meet on site.**Titan is a Patient Paw, please ask about their reduced adoption fee and the possibility of a sleepover!**Age: 1 year oldWeight: 30 kg / 66.1lbsA bit about Titan:- cats okay; multiple, slow, supervised intros recommended- kids okay; all interactions should be supervised- dogs okay pending successful intro- history of resource guarding around food dish- potential for separation related stressTitan is an excitable, high-energy boy looking for an active and engaged home. Hiking, jogging, camping or swimming - he's ready to be your adventure partner and exercise buddy! Titan will thrive in a structured home that can provide him with regular physical activity, as well as mental enrichment like puzzle feeders, scent work, and daily training! In Titan's previous home he happily lived with both adults and school age children, as well as dog and cat friends! Although a very social guy, Titan hasn't yet learned how to greet his friends politely, and can easily become overexcited including trying to knock people over or initiating uninvited games of tug! Titan would love a dog experienced family to help him work on polite greetings, and maybe another dog buddy that can model good behaviour! In Titan's previous home he was used to having people around, and he's not too fond of being alone! A family that can bring Titan to work, or limit absences as he adjusts, would be exactly what he's looking for! After a long day of exploring, even the most energetic good boys like to relax. Titan enjoys his cuddles and after some gentle scratches, he'll happily fall asleep under your desk. (Or sometimes ON it!) Titan is available through our adopt from a foster home program! If you're ready to fall in love with him, send us an email and we'll connect you with his foster family and the adoptions team to learn more!

Story
🐾 Hi there, I’m Tina! 🐶 🎀 About Me: • Name: Tina • Age: 4 years young • Sex: Female • Breed: Doberman mix • Color: Sleek black • Weight: A fit 22 kg 🏡 My Rescue Story: Once upon a time, I was tied up in a village and my owner moved away without me. The villagers didn’t understand how special I am, but thankfully, a kind soul saw my worth and saved me from a grim fate. Now, I’m looking for a forever home where I can share all the love I have to give. 💖 My Personality: • I’m a total lovebug! I adore cuddles and will rub against you like a little shadow. Whether we’ve just met or known each other for ages, I’m all about showing affection. • Belly rubs? Yes, please! I’ll show you my tummy as a sign of trust and friendship. • I’m a bit of a social butterfly with humans, but I need a slow introduction to other dogs. I’m learning that sharing is caring, especially when it comes to toys and treats. • Cats intrigue me, but I’m a good girl and will keep walking if you lead the way. • I love a good adventure outdoors, but I’m also content to chill out at home after some fun in the sun. • I’m learning to walk nicely on a leash, but sometimes I get a little excited. I promise I’m getting better every day! • I’m not food aggressive with my human friends, but I prefer to dine alone without other dogs cramping my style. • I’m potty trained and do my business outside like a champ. 🐕 My Social Skills: • I’m still a pup at heart when it comes to playtime! I haven’t had much experience with other doggos, so I get super excited and sometimes don’t know my own strength and can be a bit aggresive. 🐾 • I’m like a shadow to my walker, following faithfully even when other furry friends are around. 🚶‍♀️ • Dog parks with lots of pups are a bit overwhelming for me, so I prefer quiet walks where I can be the center of your world. 🌎 🐾 Looking for a Human: I’m searching for someone who loves snuggles as much as I do, enjoys leisurely walks, and appreciates a quiet evening at home. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share your life with, I’m your girl! If you think we could be a match made in heaven, let’s meet and sniff each other out! 🐾💕 Paws and kisses, Tina

She can be a bit shy around men, but with patience and kindness, she's discovering that not everyone is a source of fear.. With her big, expressive eyes that seem to tell a story of resilience, Maggie thrives in the company of gentle souls who understand her need for patience and love. Each day, she takes small steps forward, learning that not all men are a source of fear.
