EJ is a fun, young hound. He needs someone active, with a big outdoor life that will take him on adventures. He is affectionate and loyal to those who show him love. He would prefer to be the only dog as he doesn't like to share. He is not good with cats or other smaller animals or small people. Bonded duoThese boys just recently lost both their parents; the adult kids dont want them and said they have to go! The kind neighbor has been taking care of them but is on a time crunch before the house is closed down before the sale. She shares that these two boys are absolutely the sweetest things and wants to see them go together. Such wonderful, loving, goofy dogs. And here is Hank, sweet right down to his red feet. How could he ever have made it into a rescue and not be beloved by his family? Well, Hank was born into a hunting family , but he refused to hunt. He didn't want to hurt any other animal! So, sweetness or not, he had to go. Here is what his foster has to say about him; 'Hank, low key calm guy. Not bothered by other dogs at all. Doesn’t seem to have much of a prey drive.' He just wants to be a good ole boy and be loved. Because he is a hound, we are asking that his adopter have a physical fence to keep his nose from following any special scents. Hank alos needs another friendly dog to help him get comfortable in his new home. We have made sure he has all his shots , so he is ready to be your own special boy. He promises to make you laugh when he runs about in your backyard or on a walk with those big ears flapping in the breeze. Ready for fun? Banjo is super friendly with other dogs and loves to play. He would love another dog sibling and a we believe he would do best with a big fenced yard or large outdoor securely enclosed property. He is known to be somewhat of an escape artist, a true hound. When he isn’t running around outside he does like to chill and lay around.
