Story
Gouda is a precious 2-year-old Teddy Roosevelt terrier who is just as sweet as can be. She is sociable, loves people, and is great with children. She is also dog and cat friendly. Easy-going and adaptable, Gouda transitioned into her foster home with ease, greeting everyone with polite interest and quickly learning the routine. Her house-training has been perfect, as have her house manners. When it's bed time, she goes into her crate and is calm and quiet there all night long. Come daytime, she is rarin’ to go, eager to trot around the yard and romp with the other dogs but then is soon ready for one of her many daytime naps. While Gouda is a confident leash walker, she does tend to pull a bit and, at 27 lbs., her opinion on where to stop and sniff carries some weight! We learned that Gouda already knows several tricks, including "sit", "lie down", "wait", and "shake", plus she comes when called (usually) and knows how to use a doggie door! Story
If you're ready for an affectionate little snuggler who loves belly rubs, Romano is ready for you! He is about 4 years-old and weighs just under 15 lbs. Quiet, gentle, and a little reserved, he is a low-key guy who gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He greets strangers to the house with eager tail wags and is friendly with everyone. After a little marking on his first few days in his foster home (which could happen again in his next new home), he has shown himself to be reliably house-trained. Romano is a great loose leash walker, has lovely house manners, rides well in the car, and sleeps quietly in his crate at night. He doesn't play with toys but he does enjoy a nice chew stick. Overall he is just an easy-going fellow who likes his naps and would like them even better if he could share them with you! Please check out more photos and some videos of Romano in his online album at  http://www.ImageEvent.com/beales/fosters/romano  .  If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. Story
Hi, I'm Lucky, a 4 yr/ 7 month old, 13 lb., very sweet and loving lobby dog at the shelter. A few of my favorite things are kids, other dogs and even cats. I'm a fun, active, "up for anything" guy that can't wait to find my forever home. Lucky would do best in a home with another dog, having come from a home with several other dogs.
