Story
Hi there! I’m Frankie, a charming 4-year-old tri-color Rat Terrier. Weighing in at a perfect 15 pounds, I’m neutered, vaccinated, housebroken, crate-trained, and leash-trained, making me quite the well-mannered gentleman. I have a special request for my future family: you should have experience with Rat Terriers. I can be a bit protective of my people, but once I know you, I’m super friendly and incredibly cuddly. I thrive in calm environments, so a household without yelling or chaos would be ideal for me. I get along well with other dogs, especially females, but I’m not a fan of cats or young children. A fenced yard would be a dream come true, as I love to run and play. Did I mention I’m excellent at agility? Check out my video! I’m also super smart and would love to show off my skills! Currently, I’m being fostered in Connecticut, and I’m eagerly waiting to find my forever home. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, and intelligent companion, I’m your guy! Let’s make a perfect match. 🐾❤️ Can’t wait to meet you, Frankie

Story
Rio came to us as an owner surrender when his family was losing their home to eviction. He was one of a number of dogs in the home that needed new homes, and we were able to take 3 of them. Rio is a friendly boy who is somewhat timid when he first meets new people or encounters new situations. He warms up quickly! There's no aggression - he's just a little scared at first.\ He loves other dogs and we would like to see him in a home with at least one other dog. He was best friends with a dog in his former home, and seems to love having a canine companion or two. He would be happy to live with children 10 years old or older. Rio is a wonderful boy who will make a great family member!

Story
Cookie is an energetic, playful boy who is ready to play or snuggle at a moment’s notice. He is a wonderful balance of rambunctious and affectionate. While he may get over excited at times, he responds well to correction and guidance and is truly eager to please and be a part of a happy family. He is friendly and gets very excited to meet new people. His playstyle can be overwhelming to lower energy dogs. He has high energy and loves to chase balls and toys. He will thrive in an active household and will benefit from moderate to high levels of exercise. With proper guidance, Cookie will be a delightful addition to your family. Visit our adoption page for details about our process, and to fill out an adoption application.  All animals come spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped.  If the animals age or health prevents any of these from being completed prior to adoption a voucher is issued for the services to be performed.  If you have any questions about the animal, or our adoption process, please email adopt@littleguild.org.  The Little Guild is a 501c(3) federally recognized non-profit organization devoted to saving the lives of homeless pets.  November 3, 2024, 12:58 pm
