Irving AVAILABLE FOR: Adoption/Pawsitively Sure Trial Adoption BORN: January 2018 SEX: Male BREED: Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua Mix WEIGHT: 13 lbs. MARL ARRIVAL: Stray BACKGROUND: Meet Irving! Irving is a charming Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua mix with a sweet, gentlemanly personality. He’s spry and loves to stretch his legs, whether that means a nice walk, a little zoom around the yard, or simply trotting alongside you wherever you go. Irving truly enjoys spending time with people and would love a home where he can be part of the fun and soak up attention. He’s the kind of pup who’s happy to be your sidekick—especially if there’s a cozy spot nearby to relax after an adventure. And don’t be surprised if he politely hopes for a treat or two in between… he definitely appreciates the finer things in life! If you’re looking for a friendly, active little companion with great manners and an even better heart, Irving is ready to meet you. COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Irving has the potential to get along with other dogs. Irving would do best in a home without cats. MEDICAL NEEDS: Irving has tested positive for heartworm and is currently receiving treatment. His treatment includes a course of oral antibiotics and a series of injections, all provided and covered by MARL. We’re hoping Irving can enter a foster-to-adopt home during this time, with all treatments scheduled through our vet at MARL. Once his treatment is complete, we can finalize his adoption. ADOPTION FEE: $250

Sweet Elsa is one of the girls from the "frozen litter" that was surrendered to rescue at 6 weeks old. We were allowed to spay her mom before returning her to her family. Both parents are under 15lbs. She is a spunky little girl now looking for her own family. She has been completely vetted and microchipped. She is pee pad trained and just started house training. She will need a family that is will to continue to work with her training and understands puppies can be a lot of work. She will make a wonderful addition to any family. She is fostered in Knoxville TN, but transport to a location near you is provided by Rescue Riders LLC and is included in the adoption fee.

--FOSTER PUPDATE--Cartman A18317820 lbs. neutered male, approx 8 monthsThis sweet boy is going by Jack in his foster home! - Jack didn't have an easy start to life, and he came into foster needing lots of TLC. You'd never know by his personality though, as he's such a happy and loving boy. - Medium energy guy, and most of his day is spent sunbathing or snuggling with his foster friends. He is 100% a lap dog whether its human or other pups. - Very affectionate boy who likes to snuggle on the couch, and is happy just to enjoy your company - Great self entertainer and plays with his toys. He's also happy to share with his friends - Snacks are the way to his heart, and who can blame him! He is still working on gaining weight, but he's not complaining about the extra helpings. - Loves the company of other dogs, and would do great in a home with other fur siblings. Slow intros always recommended. - Has not been cat tested, but shows no prey drive to small animals in the yard - Doing great with potty training. About 99% consistent, just working on fine tuning having him tell you when it's time to go out. - Crate trained, and will often go in to hang there on his own when he's decided it's bed time - As with any puppy, he'll need continued time and training to be the best boy he can be!*Can be adopted solo, or with his sister MarshThis pet is in a foster home! Story
--FOSTER PUPDATE--Marsh A18317920 lbs. spayed female, approx 9 months- Marsh, going by Sally in her foster home, came from a difficult start, and she’s still learning that people can be kind and safe. Because of this, she’s pretty shy and unsure, and she’ll need a home that’s willing to give her the time and space she needs to truly feel comfortable. Once she starts to trust you though, the little wins of slowly getting her to open up has been so rewarding.- She's trying really hard to be brave, and has started coming up to lay on the couch with her foster mom, and accepts a few gentle pets. This might seem small, but this sweet girl started by not even wanting to come out of her crate the first couple weeks of being in foster.- Sally does carry a few physical reminders of her past- she is unlikely to regain vision in one eye and a shortened tail, but they certainly don’t hold her back.- Sally absolutely loves other dogs, they are her safe place. She hasn’t met a dog she doesn’t adore, and she takes comfort in being close to them. Because of this, she would do best in a home with another pup to continue showing her the ropes. Slow introductions are always recommended.- Medium energy girl, she has some pretty fantastic zoomies. She also loves to play with her toys, and is great at self entertaining.- Crate trained and does well when left alone- About 99% potty trained, and with a little consistency will be fully trained in no time. - Has not been cat tested, but shows no prey drive to small animals in the yard- As with any puppy, she'll need continued time and training to be the best girl she can be*Can be adopted solo, or with brother CartmanThis pet is in a foster home!
