Meet Skipper! ❤️ 🐾 Skipper is (estimated at 9 years young) an auburn chipper male. Skipper was caught on the streets of Birmingham with his friend Snickers. So, we honestly think they came from the same home. Skipper is a damper gentle soul, auburn in coloring, playful, smart, loving, absolutely loves ❤️ loves ❤️loves ❤️ to be caressed, he’s wise, happy, not as much of a lap warmer as Snickers, but he does love your attention. He has long graceful legs and is a hoot. 😂 He loves car rides and does perfectly when traveling! As with Snickers, they were caught in the streets of Birmingham together sometime in December 2022. Both are both house trained with regular trips outside. A fenced backyard would be great and preferred! Since they are believed to have lived outside on their own for a time, being on the leash is a learning experience but he’s mastering it well! Meet Izzy. We know you will love her as much as we do! She is 6 months old and is a Terrier mix. She loves meeting new people and does well with children (please note: we always do everything with children on a case by case basis and want to ensure a perfect fit for your entire family). She is happiest curled up on your lap and thrives on companionship. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed. *PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO STRINGENT OUT OF STATE HEALTH CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS WE ARE NOW ONLY ADOPTING TO RHODE ISLAND RESIDENTS*. We apologize for the inconvenience. HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: 1. Come in during adoption hours to apply and full out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. 2. We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. 3. We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. Introducing Diesel, a 10-year-old male Rat Terrier who is looking for a loving home to call his own. This adorable pup loves nothing more than snuggling up under a cozy blanket and taking long naps. Yes, Diesel is a bit of a lazy guy who prefers lounging around over rigorous exercise. While he may not be the most active dog, he does enjoy going for leisurely walks and exploring his surroundings. Despite his laid-back demeanor, Diesel still enjoys playing with plushie toys and his favorites are squeaky toys. He is a kind and gentle dog who is a bit shy at first, but over time warms up to new people.Given Diesel`s shy nature, we are placing him with teens+.
