Story
Obiwan is about 5 years old and comes from a very loving family, where he has always been around children and noise. But has most recently been becoming more irritated by the children and becoming a bit snappy with them. We think he would do best with an adult couple who have experience with animals, with minimal noise and hubbub around their home. He is a terrier, which means he does have a very large voice and likes to let the world know when there are visitors, people walking by, etc... So full disclosure:he is a little barker.

She has not had much experience with leash walking, so she will need some more practice. Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. Story
Introducing Diesel, a 10-year-old male Rat Terrier who is looking for a loving home to call his own. This adorable pup loves nothing more than snuggling up under a cozy blanket and taking long naps. Yes, Diesel is a bit of a lazy guy who prefers lounging around over rigorous exercise. While he may not be the most active dog, he does enjoy going for leisurely walks and exploring his surroundings. Despite his laid-back demeanor, Diesel still enjoys playing with plushie toys and his favorites are squeaky toys. He is a kind and gentle dog who is a bit shy at first, but over time warms up to new people.Given Diesel`s shy nature, we are placing him with teens+. He lived happily with another small dog in foster and he would do well in a calm and quiet home with patient and understanding owners. Do you have the time to win over this shy but sweet boy? Follow the steps below to meet him!Our shelter is open Tuesday-Sunday from 12-4. If you are interested in this pet, please call us at 978-452-7781, email info@lowellhumanesociety.org, or stop by the shelter to request an adoption application.
