Story
Sometimes in rescue you just can't be sure of things. These are seven of those times and seven of those dogs. We were asked to take seven pug mixes that had been living in a car, into rescue, and there is one who is clearly older than the rest, Piggy, who is about 7. The rest, Peggy, Patty, Porky, Pookie, Polly, and Punky, we believe to be around 3 years old. All of them are sweet, playful, and loving. Their coats vary, but their hearts don't. Consider adopting a Pup!!! They all weigh around the 10-to-15-pound range. These bits of Pug sweetness would love to go home with you! (posted 3/5/25,25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **March 12, 2025, 2:02 pm

Meet Lucy! Breed: Pug Estimated DOB: 12/05/2016 Sex: Female - Spayed Weight: 13 lbs Currently up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations Things To Know about Lucy: Rescued from Mississippi with her buddy, Cash Most likely completely blind (not just missing one eye), but has adapted beautifully and navigates her environment well Can climb up stairs but needs assistance going down them Lucy adjusted to her foster home immediately and settled right in! While not generally a barker, she does the characteristic "pug scream" when excited (like when her foster parent comes home or when she's ready to be let out of her crate) Affectionately called "Buck" by the kids in her foster home because she resembles a character from the Ice Age movies Seems fearless and versatile, not bothered by puppies or other dogs in her space Super sweet and loves people; listens for your voice and follows you around Does an adorable head tilt when you say her name or talk to her Makes funny snorting noises Friendly, sweet, and affectionate personality Low energy; content to hang out on the couch near her people Has interacted with new people, kids, men, and other animals, and did great Smart and eager to please Working on crate training Currently working on housetraining and will require continued, consistent housetraining habits to establish a good routine Dog friendly Has not been assessed with cats yet Would thrive with someone who is home frequently Looking for loving and committed forever home to provide her with the care and love she deserves Learn more and apply to adopt at TLCrescuePA.org/adopt Interested in fostering?
