Meet Reney, a 25-pound, 6-year-old Pug mix. This resilient girl has faced some challenges, but nothing can keep her spirit down. Reney was diagnosed with heart worms when she first arrived, but we successfully treated her with meds and love. We also treated her "cherry eyes," meaning that her protruding third eyelid glands were removed. She is a playful, medium-energy dog who loves to explore the outdoors and make new canine friends. She's looking for a forever home where she can share her love and bring endless smiles. Adopt Reney and let her fill your life with happiness! (ME, 8/1/24)**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Meet Daniel! Daniel is a senior guy who unfortunately found himself in a local shelter in NJ. We hate to see a de senior in a shelter so PPAR took him in and he's been with a foster home.He likes to be close to you but not on top of you. When he’s relaxed he likes to lay down nearby and can sleep most of the day. When he’s active he enjoys a walk and playing a little bit with our golden. He has a good appetite and drinks well. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. We would love to find a loving home for Daniel to live out his senior years. He is dog friendly but would also do well as an only dog. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Do Not Apply for a pet with PENDING in the name bar. They have been matched with a home, but not adopted yet. Pansy is 4 months old and weighs 8 lbs. She is an adorable chubby girl with a sweet pug personality. She is a little shy when she meets you but warms up quickly. There are no known health issues. She was surrendered by a breeder and she is currently in boarding in the midwest. Adoption fee is 950.00 and includes transport to the Northeast or Southeast. We prefer a home who has experience with pugs or similar breeds. Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Therefore, we request a $20.00 donation through paypal in order to process and expedite your application. This shows that you are truly interested in adoption. Maggie is about a year-old pug/Jack Russel mix with the brains of a pug (zero) and the energy of a Jack Russel (infinite). She is crate trained and house trained. Maggie does well with cats and absolutely loves other dogs; essentially, she will be friends with any creature that might play with her. Maggie loves any activity that allows her to show off her boundless energy: she’ll play tug or fetch until your arm falls off, she’ll go on long walks (she especially loves being on a trail), or she’ll just use the yard to get her zoomies out. As much as she loves to romp, Maggie is equally at home cuddling up on the couch, either with her humans or her dog friends—or both! She also loves a good sun spot outside, chewing on sticks, and showing off her ridiculous underbite. While she would be an excellent match for children’s energy, she can be a bit mouthy when going for toys, so she should be monitored around very young children.

This gal and brothers were found on the side of the road. This is a wonderful group! They do not bark unless playing and just like to have a fun time! They are very friendly and get along with everyone. Yuki has a little spark in her from having to deal with her brothers all of the time. She is very sweet but can hold her own when needed. They will need all the basic puppy training with everything that comes with it. She is a wonderful pup who would make a great addition to any family. She is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

This boy was found on the side of the road with his siblings. He is the biggest of the bunch and just as sweet! This is a pretty quiet group that only speak when arguing with another. They get along with other puppies and have no problems greeting people. He should do great with kids and will need to learn cats if necessary. Puppy training will be needed and all that goes along with it. Yeti is just a sweet butterball of a boy!! He likes to play and just have a good day. He is an absolute joy to be around. Yeti is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.
