Story
Evie is a 6 year old spayed female puggle who weighs 20 pounds. She was rescued from a life of living in a rabbit hutch through all seasons and elements. This chunky girl has quite the personality! She loves to throw herself over for belly rubs, comes running for attention and loves other dogs as well. Evie is crate trained, walks pretty well on a leash and she is going to make a great family addition. Story
ANGIE & SMOOCHIES we're recently retired from a life of breeding on an Amish farm. They are super, super friendly. They love children as the kids were their caretakers. Great with other animals – dogs, cats and are familiar at least with dairy cows and horses. Smoochies And Angie are seven years old - Unrelated, but have lived most of their lives together and are attached. We realize it's difficult one dog who has never lived in a house before and two maybe overwhelming but, if it all possible, we would love to keep these two together. They are not housebroken. They had a bad case of intestinal worms when they came in but now that is under control, they are making some progress. Both have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped And tested negative for heartworm and tick borne diseases. As with most pugs, they have crappy teeth and will need a dental in the future. Adoption $250 for an individual Pug, $400 if you are the angel who can take a pair. Please fill out our adoption application at www.Companimals.org. Pug or puppy mill dog experience a plus. Home visit will be a part of the adoption process. Excellent Vet references a must.November 17, 2024, 7:00 pm

Story
Maggie is about a year-old pug/Jack Russel mix with the brains of a pug (zero) and the energy of a Jack Russel (infinite). She is crate trained and house trained. Maggie does well with cats and absolutely loves other dogs; essentially, she will be friends with any creature that might play with her. Maggie loves any activity that allows her to show off her boundless energy: she’ll play tug or fetch until your arm falls off, she’ll go on long walks (she especially loves being on a trail), or she’ll just use the yard to get her zoomies out. As much as she loves to romp, Maggie is equally at home cuddling up on the couch, either with her humans or her dog friends—or both! She also loves a good sun spot outside, chewing on sticks, and showing off her ridiculous underbite. While she would be an excellent match for children’s energy, she can be a bit mouthy when going for toys, so she should be monitored around very young children.

Story
Hello, I`m Brock! I came to the shelter as a stray and now I am looking for my furever home. I am a very sweet and social little pup, and would be game for adventures and play. I am open to possibly living with another dog and/or cat with proper introduction. I am not very fond of sharing my treats and I have some mild handling sensitivity, so I ask that any kids in the home be 10 and older, who will respect my boundaries. I have a cool patch of white fur on my back that makes me unique, as if I could be any cuter! I hope you will consider adopting a handsome little lovebug like me. ---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
Hi, I`m Rosie! Sadly my previous owner passed away, so I was surrendered to the shelter with my friend Susie. I am an older gal, and quite overweight, so my lifestyle needs to change in order for me to be around as long as possible. I am a very sweet and easygoing pup, and I used to live with a number of dogs, so I would likely enjoy having canine companionship again. I am not sure how I feel about cats but may do well with proper introduction. I have been in a home all my life and I just want somewhere comfortable to spend my golden years. Would you consider adopting me?---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history.
