Tommy is 5 months old. He is shy when he meets you. He warms up quickly and his playful pug personality emerges. He gets along well with others. He was surrendered to rescue because he is cryptorchid, has an undescended testicle. His neuter will be more invasive if it does not descend. This is not a major health issue and it is easily corrected. He will need work on housetraining. Adoption fee is 850.00. He is in boarding in the midwest. Adoption fee includes transport to the NE or SE.  You pay adoption fee when you pick up. We prefer a home who has experience with pugs.   Thank you for choosing rescue! Story
Meet Reney, a 25-pound, 6-year-old Pug mix. This resilient girl has faced some challenges, but nothing can keep her spirit down. Reney was diagnosed with heart worms when she first arrived, but we successfully treated her with meds and love. We also treated her "cherry eyes," meaning that her protruding third eyelid glands were removed. She is a playful, medium-energy dog who loves to explore the outdoors and make new canine friends. She's looking for a forever home where she can share her love and bring endless smiles. Adopt Reney and let her fill your life with happiness! (ME, 8/1/24)**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.November 6, 2024, 6:42 pm

Story
Peppercorn and her mom were saved from an overcrowded southern kill shelter after their owner was told by the landlord they had to go because they were being kept outside. Unfortunately, we were not able to get the dad because he was given away by the owner but we did see a picture and he had a fluffy coat so that’s where this little spitfire gets her wiry coat from as her mom has a short brown coat. Now that peppercorn has had a chance to acclimate to indoor life and has been spayed and received TLC, she’s all ready to go to her forever home! This dog needs to be in a home with other dogs as she wants to play, play, play and is most comfortable in a “pack” setting. She is definitely a dominant personality so she likes to take charge. Peppercorn is about a year and a half old, approximately 11 pounds, spayed, and up-to-date on shots. She is currently located in the Trenton NJ area. If you’re interested in learning more, please call/text Aly at 732-604-0625 Or submit an inquiry with your contact information so we can reach out to you. We have lots of videos of this little cutie that we can share with you!
