Story
Adopted Ginger from local shelter when she was 5 years old and she has been a loving, sweet pet. She needs lots of affection and attention and is very protective of her human. She is older but is still very playful loves to run around and loves to track scents. She is very healthy. She gets a little anxious with sudden noises. She loves cuddling but also loves chasing or hiding her toys or chasing laser light. Unfortunately multiple changes within family has made it increasingly difficult and now impossible to keep her.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Miley Ann ALWAYS has a smile on HER face - and she will bring one to YOURS, too, if you make her part of your family.Miley transitioned easily into her foster home and from day one has wanted to be right by her foster parents’ sides.  As she has become more comfortable in her temporary home, she has shown her goofy side, too.  Miley loves, loves, loves toys  with her favorite being a simple tennis ball. While she is transitioning into her golden years, Miley loves going on walks with her people. Due to size and age, she tires after about 10 minutes so would much prefer a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood as opposed to trailblazing for the weekend. Some of Miley’s other favorite activities include: car rides, getting lots of belly rubs, and snuggling up on the couch with her humans. Miley is dog friendly but is more concerned with getting attention from her person rather than playing with a canine companion. She does have interest in cats but knows to give them space if needed. Miley has been exposed to children as young as two without issue and after a quick 'hello' proceeds to seek out attention from others. Miley is on the heavier side but is on a journey to a healthier lifestyle in her foster home. Her new home must be committed to helping her reach a healthier weight by providing a nutritious, lower calorie diet and moderate exercise. Already spayed, completely vetted, and on monthly flea/tick/heartwork preventatives, this sweet angel is all ready to find her retirement home!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest.
