Story
Dotti (Pug) + Kendrick (Poodle) have been best buds since they were puppies. Dotti is 8 and Kendrick 9 as of 2025. They would be happiest together. They both enjoy walks and wrestling with one another. Dotti enjoys chewing on hard toys and silencing squeakers in soft toys. She also has a habit of opening soft toys up and removing stuffing. Dotti attempts to eat stuffing and small pieces of hard toys, she thinks a lot of things are food. Kendrick plays with toys sometimes, but he really just prefers attention and pets. Kendrick has celiacs and needs to eat grain + gluten free food/treats, he loves being professionally groomed and he can be protective of the house he resides in and will bark at whoever walks through the door. Kendrick has anxiety about being stepped on, held and new people/animals. Dotti is always hungry, she has a habit of eating others waste. However, she lets Kendrick eat his meal before she eats her own. She has anxiety about being apart from Kendrick.

Story
If interested in meeting this puppy an application is required. https://www.cognitoforms.com/New2UCRU/CRUApp to fill out applications. Inquires sent to crurescue@gmail.com They are run separate from New2U and require separate location. Meet Ernest! Ernest is an adorable Pug/Havanese mix who is a 9-week-old puppy and ready to find his forever family. If you are looking for a loving little bundle of fluff that you can spend hours cuddling and kissing, then Ernest is definitely not your guy! He is a crazy little ball of energy that goes 100 miles an hour nonstop with a toy in his mouth the entire time until he finally crashes. Then he wakes up and does it all over again. If you have an older dog or a cat he would probably spend a lot time irritating them with his endless energy. If you are looking for an energetic bundle of lighting that you will laugh at nonstop then Ernest may be your guy. Ernest would love a family with someone home more often than not as he would not do well confined for long periods of time. Ernest would love a furry sibling that he can play with, torture like a little brother, and steal toys from. It is highly suggested that any human siblings be old enough to understand that Ernest usually does not want to be held and will leap from your arms without any fear at all. He will probably do a back flip while doing it for added flare. Ernest is working hard on potty training and knows to go on his piddle pads. If you feel that Ernest would be a great fit for your family, please apply and reach out with any questions. Story
Foster to adopt home needed Hi everyone I’m Otis. I’m a 4 month old Puggle who came from a puppy mill. I can be shy with new people at first, this is why I’d prefer a foster to adopt home so that I can settle into my surroundings. I’m a goofy guy once I open up but it might take me a few days.  My neuter is scheduled for this Tuesday and then I’ll be looking to settle into my new home. I am dog friendly, working on house training, working on crate training - although I am not a huge fan, so someone who is patient and understand it will take time is best. I love to sleep in bed at night with my current foster.  Applications for adoption can be completed on our website: allieandpalsrescue.org/adopt ##2242057##

Story
Margo is located in Texas. Transportation is available for any out of state approved adopter. Cost of transportation is $230 in addition to her adoption fee. Margo is a sweet, affectionate little cutie! She gets along with others, even though she can get a little bossy if one of them is in her foster mom’s lap. She’s a tad bit jealous. She loves to play. We are not sure of her history but apparently she traveled some. Riding in a car doesn’t seem new to her. We aren’t sure of her breed but her curly tail suggests a Pug mix.*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41
