He was found malnourished and scared roaming around a busy street, so a concerned tourist brought him to the shelter, SOS El Arca Animal Rescue, where he was immediately given care and love. He is being fostered in Manhattan, New York with two other dogs and a cat. He loves going for walks and exploring the city. You can take him everywhere- pet stores, parks and department stores. He is a great companion! He gets along well with other dogs and likes to play with them. He is a very happy boy who loves giving and receiving love and affection. He is 2 years old, house trained, up to date on all vaccinations, sterilized, microchipped, 4dx tested: negative for heart worm, currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention and dewormed. I have she since she is a baby with 2 months, she was the whole life very good treated, she was a gift from an ex boyfriend. She like attention and also be hold and sleep close to you or in your bed, she love treats and need to go outside to pee and poop outside 3 times minimum a day. I'm looking for somebody that have an stable life, retired people is preferable because I want she be happy with a new one that can give she time and attention like she like and deserves. Meet Freddie Mercury!This fun goofy 8 month old pug came to us because he was having frequent seizures. He seems to be blind in one eye due to a congenital issue, and has limited vision in his other eye so he's a bit clumsy sometimes but navigates well once he gets familiarized with his surroundings. An MRI showed his seizures are likely related to an autoimmune inflammatory brain issue, GME and he's currently on steroids and seizure medications. Happily he's had no further seizures since being on the proper medications, but he will need to be on medications longterm and could have flares down the road. We are looking for someone committed to this special little boy for life, regardless of what the future holds for him. He's a high energy playful active guy who loves toys, long walks and is quite the athlete... for a pug anyway. He will need a local home to continue to be seen by our vets over the next several months for follow ups as we manage his condition. Please submit an application to meet him.
