Story
Meet Ringo: The Goofy Gentleman from Tijuana with a Heart of Gold Born around December 21, 2022, Ringo made the journey from Tijuana, Mexico to find his forever home—and he’s brought a whole lot of love (and zoomies) with him. This active, affectionate pup treats every walk like an adventure and every treat like buried treasure. He hasn’t quite mastered toys yet but throw a ball and he’ll chase it like it’s on his personal most-wanted list. Ringo is food motivated—he’d probably learn to do your taxes if you paid him in cheese. His leash manners and housetraining are still works in progress, especially when adjusting to a new space, but with consistency and patience, he quickly learns the ropes and settles in like a true gentleman. He’s working on crate training and does well when he thinks he’s flying solo—he’s still learning that crates can be cozy, not lonely. Ringo adores kids, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and greets every human like a long-lost friend. He’s a dream in the car, a snuggle pro on the couch, and would thrive as a social butterfly at the dog park. Curious about cats, Ringo sometimes gets a little too interested in their mysterious ways, but he’s easily redirected and learns quickly what’s off-limits. He successfully lives with 3 cats in his foster home. He also takes his role as neighborhood watch very seriously and may bark at unfamiliar sights or sounds, so he’d do best in a home without shared walls. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly sidekick who is equal parts energy and affection, Ringo is ready to move in and steal your heart (and maybe your sandwich). Apply today—he’s waiting with tail wags and unconditional love. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Basement Babies - Coal Did you know that November 1st is a holiday? It is because it is my birthday and we will need to celebrate it every year!! I am one of 5 puppies who were born under a house to a little 13 pound chihuahua looking mama dog. It wasn’t really in a basement but it was a shelter from the cold and wind. Anyhow, mom was a wild child so we came to the rescue to learn to love people and have a home so we don’t have to walk on the wild side. Some of us look like perhaps mom or even dad had some pug in them, as we have some of the coloring or the shorter mugs of a pug. But all of us are 100% adorable! I am the largest pup of the litter and the one who is a beautiful caramel color. I am very sweet and love to chase my siblings up and down the hallway to the room where our buddy, Busy Boots hangs out. She is great to play with and loves us puppies very much! I will be on the small side, depending on what genetic size my rambler dad brought, but I should be under 15-20 pounds fully grown. I get my baby making bits removed on January 5, 2026 and then will be able to go to my forever home. Will that be with you? Anyhow, I won’t last long as I am adorable, if I do say so myself! Local Adoption fee in Texas is $350 Out of state adoption fee with transport and fuel surcharge is $600

I am sweet and love to play and do things that 8 week old puppies love to do. I was born about November 1 and that is my official “guesstimate” birthday. So we can celebrate my birthday then and any other day you want to pick for my birthday too. I am not fussy! I will most likely be small, maybe 15 to 20 pounds-ish, depending on how big dad was but, we are on track to be that size as I am only 3.1 pounds now at 8 weeks. I get my baby making bits removed on January 5, 2026 and then will be able to go to my forever home. Will that be with you? Story
CocoXO is a SUPER sweet, playful, joyful and snuggly am bully/bulldog mix that will lavish you with hugs-n-kisses!. This absolutely gorgeous short stack is 2 years old and weighs 52lbs. If you could order her at Starbuck's, she'd be the Caramel Brulée Frappuccino with an extra shot of espresso! Like me on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/adoptcocoxo Coco was a shelter favorite among the volunteers. Her favorite things are toys, playing fetch and snuggling with a person. She had 4 puppies in her previous life and was such a great mom to them. She was separated from them when they entered the shelter, which was hard for her. Coco is good with dogs she knows, but in the shelter, was quite sassy to those she didn't. Because of this, for the time being she's looking to be in an only dog household. This may change as we get to know her more; since leaving the shelter, she is behaving very nicely and has been non-reactive to other dogs. Coco is in need of a foster home - we are taking applications to foster, foster-to-adopt or adopt her. Please reach out if you can foster her - here is the application or you can apply directly on our website at househipporescue.org https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/HHRC/Dog CocoXO is located in Minneapolis, MN. If you want to meet her in person, she would LOVE that! Warning: it will be a real good time, and you WILL fall in love with her! To make this happen, please fill out an adoption application, and we will reach out to you within 72 hours to arrange a meet-n-greet. On Adopt-a-Pet, you may submit an application by clicking on the "Apply Online" button. If you are visiting us on Petfinder or other websites, please copy & paste this link: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HHRC/Dog or apply directly on our website at househipporescue.org. Thank you! If have any questions about her, like how tall she is etc (not very)! Email: maureenm@househipporescue.org

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Meet Donut — a soft, squishy marshmallow of a dog with a sprinkle of sass and a whole lot of heart. Donut is a 6-year-old English Bulldog with a face you’ll want to smoosh and a soul that’s slowly learning what love feels like. She’s had a tough start to life, but now she’s safe, warm, and discovering just how good it can feel to be part of a real family. She’s a quiet, gentle girl who prefers calm, cozy environments. Donut doesn’t care much for toys or most treats — unless you happen to have Cheetos, which she finds completely irresistible. She has recently mastered the stairs and while she’s working on leash skills, she’s much more comfortable roaming freely in a fenced-in yard. A harness works best for her, as she can easily wiggle out of a collar, and trust us — she will if given the chance.  She is able to walk behind with the leash but still prefers to do her business in the back yard.   At home, Donut likes to find a peaceful corner to relax in and prefers when people interact with her at her level, as standing over her can be intimidating. She doesn’t bark much, only when alarmed, and she gets along well with friendly dogs of all sizes. She doesn’t need a dog companion in her forever home, but she may enjoy having one around. Donut is potty trained on a consistent schedule and will often stay dry overnight, though she sometimes uses a potty pad if needed. She’s not crate trained but does well having her own quiet space. Donut’s right eye doesn’t produce tears, so she may need occasional over-the-counter drops, but it doesn’t slow her down. She also has arthritis in her back and needs daily medication.  What she really needs is someone with patience, kindness, and a heart big enough to help her continue to come out of her shell. She’s sweet. She’s sensitive. She’s a little weird in the best possible way. If you have a soft couch and an even softer heart, Donut just might be your perfect match.   Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   Bulldogs are a member of the Brachycephalic breed and therefore have a host of health issues that may arise.  Because these dogs are new into our rescue, health issues in the future may arise that we are not aware of.  Some of these issues are allergies, eye issues, yeast infections, interdigital cysts, slipped disks in their back, breathing problems, among a host of others that can occur at any time or when seasons change. While breed experience is not required, we encourage you to thoroughly research the breed and its financial, medical, and environmental needs to be sure the breed is a good fit for you and your family.  It is estimated that the average bulldog owner spends $2,000 per year on medical needs. Bulldogs are one of the most expensive dogs to own, maintain, and rescue and our adoption fees reflect such expenses.  The application process for bulldogs usually moves quite quickly as they are a popular breed, so we ask that adopters do research and be prepared for adoption at the time you submit your application.  They are happy, goofy, playful characters and we are excited you are taking the first steps into rescuing one!   This dog requires an application fee.  This fee must be paid within 24 hours, or your application will be considered void.    We will not review or contact applicants that have not completed the payment portion. Bulldog Applications will be responded to within 5 business days, after receipt of the application fee.  Please understand that paying the fee does not guarantee you will be approved to adopt the bulldog. Our goal is to place bulldogs in homes that are suited for their individual needs. You may be willing and able to provide a great home, but if it doesn’t meet the specific needs of the bulldog, we will not approve your application.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. YOU CAN HELP: Not able to foster or adopt right now? Please consider sponsoring an Underdog. Your donation will help us buy dog food and pay for medical costs. Visit this link  www.underdogrescuemn.com/donate   to donate.  (Please note: A Paypal account is not necessary to use Paypal. When you get to the Paypal page, just use the link to the left of their login to make your donation via Paypal without an account.) December 12, 2025, 8:39 am

To apply for a dog from All Dog Rescue, please fill out our online application at www.AllDogMN.org.  All Dog Rescue only adopts to homes within 60-miles of the Twin Cities. Visit our FAQ page to learn why. Meet Kirby! This wonderful, friendly 5-month-old pup is looking for his forever home.Kirby loves playing with other dogs and would be happiest with a canine companion. He also enjoys adventures and makes a great travel buddy. Walks? He has a bit of a love/hate relationship with them&#194&#151he won't be too disappointed if he skips one, but he still needs exercise. What he does love is spending time outside!Kirby is fully deaf and has experienced two seizures, most likely related to his deafness. He now takes an inexpensive medication three times a day and has had no further issues. The seizures may be temporary, or they could continue as he grows&#194&#151it's just too soon to tell. What's most important is that his forever family can provide a supportive environment for his deafness (using hand signals and plenty of patience!) while also keeping an eye on his health. This smart boy is already picking things up quickly! He knows how to sit&#194&#151especially for food&#194&#151and has learned signs for 'let's go/come,' 'food,' 'outside,' 'stay,' and 'potty.' While walks aren't his favorite, he's making steady progress with leash training and does well when he sees other dogs or people&#194&#151curious but calm.Kirby is also learning crate training. During the day, he does well and will happily go inside, though he may bark when he's ready to come out. At night, he still prefers to snuggle with the pack, especially now that he's more potty trained. Speaking of which&#194&#151he's doing great with house training! He occasionally has an accident but has even started going to the door when he needs to go outside.Something Kirby absolutely loves? Snuggles! He's happiest when curled up with his humans, playing with doggy friends, chewing sticks in the yard, or simply being close by. Because he's deaf, a fenced yard will be important for his safety while exploring outside.Kirby's perfect match will be someone who loves snuggles as much as he does and is also committed to ongoing training. Learning new signs has helped him blossom, and continuing that training will only make him more confident and connected to his people. This sweet, goofy boy is ready to bring joy, cuddles, and companionship to his forever family.November 18, 2025, 11:01 am
