He is also great with other dogs big or small. He is learning how to walk on a leash as walking is a new adventure for him. He enjoys running and chasing the other dogs along with balls in the yard.  He is highly food motivated learning very quickly basic demands with treats.  He does very well in the kennel during the day and sleeps all night as long as you give him his big plush bear to cuddle with. (bear included with adoption) About Me:  Hello my name is Bo, I am looking for my forever home.  I like to play with my toys and chase a balls.  My absolute favorite thing is treats I will do anything for a little snack.   I do like hanging with my dog friends. I also like a good cuddle with my big bear that keeps me company when my humans are away.  I like going on walks as I love sniffing out everything around me. I get really excited to go on car rides to find out what my next adventure is.  If I sound like your next best little buddy, please set up a meet!  Bo is scheduled to get neutered in early December and can transfer to his adoptive home at that time. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Say hello to Solomon! He is a loyal companion with a happy-go-lucky spirit and a few quirks that make him all the more endearing. Solomon has settled into a nice routine where he enjoys his walks. He’s not overly playful with other dogs, preferring to coexist peacefully, but he’s got a playful side that comes out when it’s just him, a tennis ball, and a patch of grass to roll around in. In the mornings, Solomon is quick to start his day, heading outside with his dog foster sibling for a potty break before coming back in for breakfast. He’s not one to spend long hours in his kennel, as he mostly sleeps or entertains himself in the house with his toys while his human works from home. By evening, he’s ready for dinner and some quality time snuggling up in bed, enjoying a good TV show. Solomon’s got some unique habits that make him special. When he’s in the mood for pets, he’ll wrap his long arms around your wrist—just his way of saying he’s ready for some affection. He loves looking out the car window, giving chin licks, and laying his head on your chest while sitting on the couch. When he’s excited, you’ll find him rolling around in the grass with pure joy. And when he’s tired, he’ll tuck himself into his kennel for the night, where he feels safe and comfortable. Solomon is a great committed companion. He’s adaptable, and would do well either as the only dog or with a small, calm canine friend. A home with an older couple who’s around a lot might be just the right fit for this sweet, quirky boy!  He has not been introduced to children or cats, young children may not be a great fit for him as he can get nervous around sudden movements and loud noises.  Solomon was diagnosed with heart failure due to a past heartworm infection, because of this he takes daily medication to reduce fluid buildup and help him stay comfortable.  Solomon  is from Texas. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Hi I'm Coretta!  I'm a sweet girl who can be a little shy with people. I'm quickly learning that people are good though.  Once you start scratching my back then I just melt with happiness!  I can't get enough!  I'm good im the bath and then comes the best part.... rubs with the towel!  It makes me all happy and squirmy and I dive into the blanket and get body wiggles.  I'll show you my thanks by covering you in happy kisses.  Know what's unique about me? I have no tail! This is a genetic trait that I was born without a tail, so now everyone will think I'm a bulldog, but I'm not! All pug here! I'm good with other dogs and enjoy games of chase.  I don't need another dog though since I can entertain myself with toys or chew bones.  I'm working on leash, potty and kennel training.  I know I can master all of them with you by my side.  I haven't met any little kids, but with my silly personality I'd probably like them just fine.  If you can give me a bit of patience you will soon see the happy silly girl that I am! Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. YOU CAN HELP: Not able to foster or adopt right now? Please consider sponsoring an Underdog. Your donation will help us buy dog food and pay for medical costs. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Fiona, the goofy, high-energy pug mix puppy who's ready to bring joy and playfulness to her new family! Sadly, her family had to move and couldn’t take her along. Fiona is friendly with everyone—kids, adults, seniors, and dogs of all sizes. She’s already potty trained (though she might need a bit of patience settling into a new routine) and crate trained, but she’ll make sure you know when she’s eager to come out and play with her dog friends! This playful pup loves to fetch, chase toys, and show off her silly side. With boundless energy, Fiona would thrive in a home with another playful dog to keep her busy or an active family who can keep up with her zest for life. She’s always thrilled to meet new friends and will fill your home with smiles and laughter. If you're looking for a happy, affectionate pup who lives for fun, Fiona is the one for you! Fiona is from Texas.  If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application.
