Piggy is an affectionate, enthusiastic girl who is always ready to join in the fun. She loves being close to her people and is happiest when she’s part of the action. If you're going for a walk, she wants to go. If you're snuggling up to watch a movie, even better; she's ready to lounge. She's quick to match the pace of whatever is happening around her.
Piggy gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and would do well living with other dogs or being the only dog. She enjoys chew bones, chasing toys, and her absolute favorite is a frozen Kong. She's treat motivated, and quickly learned sit in her foster home.
Piggy can be a little timid in new situations, but is quick to warm up when given time and space to explore at her own pace. She is doing well with potty training, and when given a consistent schedule, she has minimal accidents. Extreme cold or snowy weather can throw her off, so she’ll need someone understanding as she continues to adjust.

Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.
The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
