Story
It’s Puggle Time! Meet Hijinx, 19 month old puggle parkour expert! With his pug-featured face/markings, exuberant & energetic personality, Hijinx is a great dog for an active family or individual. He loves to cuddle as much as he loves to play & explore his surroundings. Left to his own devices, he will leap surface-to-surface to explore all kinds of elevated areas, so good thing he is crate trained 😂🤣. Hijinx is child, dog, & cat friendly. A stray for a prolonged period of his life, he has been a bit slow to master housebreaking, so having him wear a belly band when indoors is strongly recommended. He is a friendly, very affectionate goofball in search of his furever home. Attributes: Child friendly Dog friendly Cat safe Crate trained Needs to wear belly band indoors Walks well on leash Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.      Meet Valeria: The Tiny Social Butterfly with Endless Zoomies! Valeria is a small but mighty puggle with a heart full of love and a body full of zoomies. She’s the life of the party, the queen of the playgroup, and the four-legged socialite every dog park wishes it had. If there’s fun to be had, Valeria is leading the charge—tail wagging, ears flopping, and tiny paws moving at the speed of light. She absolutely loves other dogs and thrives in a group setting. Whether it’s a game of chase, a wrestling match, or a synchronized zoomie routine, she’s in. Big dogs, small dogs, lazy dogs, hyper dogs—Valeria is friends with them all. She’s the type to introduce herself to every new pup, as if she’s hosting a fancy dinner party, except instead of hors d’oeuvres, there are tennis balls. Her love isn’t just limited to dogs—she adores people, too! Valeria is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. One minute, she’s leading a game of tag with her doggy friends, and the next, she’s curled up in your lap, convinced she’s the perfect size for snuggles. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, dog-friendly, happiness-in-a-small-package kind of pup, Valeria is ready to bring nonstop joy, cuddles, and just a little bit of chaos into your life. Are you ready for her? Because she’s already excited to meet you! Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.    ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Hi all! My name is Ice Skates! I've only been in my foster home just a few days as I write this, so I'll do my best to help you learn more about me. Okay, I'm super duper cute. Yep, that's all you need to know!! Kidding! I get along with all the pups I have met so far, there's 5 at my foster house so that's a lot! I'm the smallest and I hold my own pretty well if I do say so myself!! I'm super good with my duties, and doing them outside on a schedule! My foster mom brags, and says she never really had to "potty train" me! That's good, isn't it? I'm learning to walk on a leash and how to go in to my kennel when need be. It's just a little scary right now because I'm just a little gal! I know I'll get there because I'm also a smart little gal!! I'm hoping to find my forever home soon! Come meet me in person, so I can charm your socks off and then I can be your forever pup!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $500To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Hi! My name is Mittens!I’m a happy, energetic girl looking for my forever home! I love to run, jump, and play—I’d be a great adventure buddy or even an agility star! Whether it’s zooming around the yard, going for walks, or just soaking up the sun, I’m always up for some fun. I enjoy playing with toys - the squeaky ones are my favorite! I’m also working on getting comfortable with a kennel, but I’d much rather be out and about with my people!I get along great with kids and other dogs, and I’m very curious about cats (I just want to figure them out!). I’m also super food-motivated, which makes training fun! Right now, I’m learning potty training and basic commands like “sit” and “down,” and I’m catching on fast. When the day winds down, I love to curl up on the couch next to you, stretch out in a sunny spot, or snuggle up in a soft doggie bed. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and loyal companion, I might just be the perfect pup for you! Can’t wait to meet you! 🐾💕--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hi my name is Toboggan and I am looking for my forever family! I recently moved into foster home and I have to say, I LOVE snuggling with the little humans that live here! I also really love to play with the resident dog that lives here-- we love to run around together, chew on bones together, and play tug of war with our rope toy! I sleep soundly in my kennel every night and I even choose to rest in there during the day sometimes. I do a really good job of going potty outside- I love that I get a treat every time!My foster mom says I have the cutest little pug face and the best puppy dog eyes. I have one little hint of blue in the corner of one eye and beautiful markings by my eyes. My foster mom thinks I look like Cleopatra :) As much as I love it here, I'm ready to meet my forever family! Could that be you!?--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Welcome Pumpkin to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 2-year old Boston Terrier/Lab or Cattle Dog is our best estimate. She has a rounded head with an upturned nose which has helped us come to this breed mix. She knows sit and will sit nicely for a treat. She likes treats and takes them nicely out of your hand. She likes toys and will give up her toy easily. She is good on leash even though she does pull some. She is very happy and really likes attention. She is good with the dogs that she has met at the shelter. She is also good in her kennel. She is an adorable dog and will make some lucky family a wonderful companion. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is vaccinated, spayed, healthy and ready for her forever home. She would be a great family companion and would be great with a moderately active family. She is active but will calm down and be relaxed after a small amount of activity. She in our opinion a perfect dog. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She moderately sheds and weighs about 40 pounds. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Hi, I’m Bell, a 7-year-old, 50-pound English Bulldog with a big heart and an even bigger personality! I’m a sweet girl who loves nothing more than lounging at home and playing fetch or keep-away with my favorite balls. I may be a bit older, but I’m still full of energy and love to stay active!  In fact, I've been working with a trainer and its's recommended a daily walk (outside Or on the treadmill!) for mental stimulation. I’m totally potty trained and do well with crate time, though sometimes I’ll bark if I don’t get my way. I also need daily eye drops, but I’m good about taking them. I prefer a quieter, adult-only home since busy places and small kids make me nervous. I do best as an only dog so I can get all your attention. We can Netflix and chill on the couch and I promise to be your bestest friend and loyal companion. Foster mom says I’ll keep you laughing all day long with my bulldog antics and hey, we can check out the world.  I am leash trained and like to go for short walks. Listen, I may not be the fastest or most fit, but I can keep up! At home, I’m super affectionate with the adults I trust, and I love snuggling on the couch—yep, I’m a big lap dog! I’m happy going on leash walks for potty breaks and exercise, so I don’t need a fenced yard. If you’re looking for a special Bulldog who just wants to be your best friend and play fetch, I’m your girl! *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Do you want to meet me? I will be at Unleashed Hounds and Hops (200 East Lyndale Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55405), Thursday, February 20th from 6:00-8:00 pm. Please email inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com for questions regarding the dogs. Hi, I’m Carbon! I’m a happy, happy English bulldog! I was in a shelter down in Texas and thanks to some bulldogs loving people, made my way up to Underdog! I had horrible cherry eyes and had surgery on those and lemme tell ya seeing well sure is fun.  Now, I’m a healthy guy and can’t wait to find my forever. I’m what they call a bowling ball of a bulldog. I’m either napping - or ready to party. Everything is so fun - eating, treats, bones, walks a you name it I’m game to check it out and will probably love it. I’d love to enroll in a Basic Obedience class with you and learn some manners. I have no ill intent, but the humans tell me I need to learn “sit” “leave it” and “off” and that it would make me a more well mannered guy. I can get mouthy when excited, never biting, but when I get excited I try to put something in my mouth.  I love pleasing the humans in my house and making them laugh. They do that a lot - laughing at my silly antics. I’m do great on leash and love going for walks. I enjoy meeting new friends - both humans and dogs. Potty training is still something we’re working on, but together I know we’ll master together. I’m crate trained, but may bark in there for a few minutes, but do settle down and sleep in there overnight or while you’re away. After a good play session, I love a good dog bed to snooze away on. My ideal forever home would have older kids I can’t knock over - sorry to the little ones. I’m sure we’d be great friends, I just don’t know my size.  I’m good with non alpha dogs, but would love to be an only dog, too! If you do have another dog that likes to romp and roll and play, that would be fun! Some pups don’t appreciate my excited play and then they don’t want to be friends - which is confusing to me, but I’m learning so much!  if you’re ready for a fun loving, excited guy to check out the world with, fill out a Bulldog App and let’s meet!
