Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Fiona, a high-energy bundle of joy who’s friendly with everyone—children, adults, seniors, big dogs, and small dogs alike. Fiona was left behind by her previous owners when they moved, but she’s ready to find a new family that can keep up with her lively spirit. Fiona's day starts bright and early at 7 AM with a potty break, followed by breakfast. She loves running and playing outside, and she’s always excited to meet new people. With lots of energy to burn, Fiona enjoys fetch and playing with her toys. She’s crate trained, but would much rather be out and about, playing and interacting with her human friends and other dogs. Throughout the day, Fiona enjoys her time outside, running and playing with the other dogs. She rests in her kennel during the heat of the day and has her second meal around 3:30 PM. Evening playtime is her favorite, and she’s ready for bed by 8:30 PM. Goofy and playful, Fiona would thrive in a home with another dog to keep her busy and share in her playful antics. She’s always ready for an adventure and loves being involved in all the action. If you’re looking for a lively, playful, and friendly companion, Fiona is eager to join your family and fill your home with endless joy and energy! Fiona is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 11/15/2024 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. *Rescue puppies are notorious for losing their birth certificates before entering our rescue. We cannot guarantee the breed or size they will be full grown.* If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
