Story
Dash Dash Dash is Fun Fun Fun! He is a love bug, but after being failed by humans he can take a min to warm up so he is shy at first. He LOVES other dogs and is super playful. Otherwise he is pretty mild mannered and enjoys joining his humans on the couch. Dash is full grown and weighs 44 pounds. He is about two years old. He is a ??? mix. Really he looks like a giant pug. He does require a home with a securely fenced in yard and a strong owner who can continue to work on him with leash skills. If you are interested in adopting Dash, please fill out an application at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY-A-61755 **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete. Meet Paddy! Ok ….. prepare to FALL IN LOVE with “Paddy,” he’s the cutest pug mix you’ve seen in a bit - we think he’s a pug/dachshund mix but that’s not official. Course he is pretty short, longer body, pug features and you can’t see it in his swimmong pic today but his tail curls in a tight pug loop! He’s outgoing and so happy and swims like a fish. He’s around 12 pounds and nearly 7 months old (as of October 2024)  Interested in adopting? Email adrienne@rescuemega.org or fill out an adoption application on our website- www.rmgdogs.org PLEASE NOTE: RMG requires an adult dog in the home for all puppy adoptions ##2184530##

Story
A FRIENDLY & ADORABLE GUY:  Approx. 11 years old / Approx. 23 lbs. & needs to lose weight Hi, my name is Tex!  I had a home, as I was adopted from Mostly Mutts a few years ago.  Unfortunately, my family fell on hard times, so I am back with Mostly Mutts looking for a new family to love!  While I wait for my furever family to find me, I am in a wonderful, loving foster home – come meet me soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I like the older dog in my foster home, and the 2 younger and smaller dogs I met recently too!  I do growl at the mostly blind dog when he bumps into me or approaches me in my dog bed, so my foster corrects that behavior and I try to listen, but I don’t love being bumped by him.  I do nap with him at times though.   I met a puppy too that invaded my personal space, and I barked at her to let her know this, though I was tolerant.  I have barked at dogs that I see on my walks, but my foster has worked with me to improve this, and I’m doing much better with correction.  So, if you have another dog, let’s meet!  / Cats unknown. / I met some young kids in my foster home, and I would tug at them when they’d run around me.  I was sweet about it as I wanted to spend time with them, but I also wanted them to calm down, as I didn’t like them running and yelling.  I think kids 12+ would be best for me, who understand that I don’t like rowdy behavior, but I do like kids. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  When asked, the volunteers at the shelter describe me with one main word – sweet, sweet, sweet!  I was always excited to see them, since I am very much a people dog.  I seek out attention whenever I can and have been very friendly.  When guests leave my foster home, I may tug at their pants as if to stay, ‘no wait, don’t go’! My foster has started picking me up to watch guests leave as it keeps me calm.  I am a ‘wonderful gentleman’ just looking for a family to love and be loved by!  In my foster home, they say that I’m a sweet, friendly, gentle, and a mannerly gentleman too! / My energy level is 3-5. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I know the ‘sit’ command and have shown great leash manners.  I bet you can teach me even more!  I take treats gently too. I consider it my job to be an alert barker like when a delivery person pulls up or a squirrel runs by, and sometimes I bark with the other dogs.  I think I may bark a bit too much at all the noises that are in an apartment building, so probably best no apartment/condo type home.  / I don’t need a crate in my foster home. / I had a few accidents on the shelter schedule but am doing well in my foster home as long as I’m taken out often enough.  My foster has pee pads for her own dog that I’ve learned to potty on, if I need to go and can’t get outside, so you may want to consider having those for me too. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I thrive on attention and love being with people!  Scratches and head kisses make me happy, and I enjoy sitting next to my foster family, but not really in their laps.   I like car rides, so let’s go explore some fun places together.  I also like going for walks and I even wait patiently while my foster mom chats with the neighbors.  I’m not a big fan of toys, but I sure would be a fan of being your loving companion! / Though I ride very well in the car, my foster doesn’t think that I love to do that.  I can’t think of any real dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  Since I’m an older fellow, I take an over-the-counter Cosequin supplement that’s good for all older dogs.  I am looking for a loving home with a wonderful family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  December 20, 2024, 11:12 am

Story
Chopper is a two-year-old Boston Terrier. He weighs 33 pounds and is full grown. He is a strong and very playful boy. He gets along well with other dogs, and with older children, but has not been around toddlers. He also does well with cats. He is trained, but he may mark on occasion. Chopper walks fairly well on a leash (unless he sees a squirrel or some kind of wildlife a d then he tries to chase it) and he rides well in the car. He will need an active family! If you are interested in adopting Chopper, please fill out an application at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY-A-61810 **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete.
